Location: Kendall, Lorne Valley Mid North Coast NSW Australia
'Grace' came to me as a gift at a time when I was feeling down. Someone emailed me to say they had a still born baby girl 10 years earlier and listened to my music to help her recover. She named the baby Grace. Now, 10 years later she has a daughter called Sophie Grace and together they sit and listen my music to remember her baby sister. The message to me was that my music had stood the test of time and that the most important thing I can do with it is to touch and help others.

New Age/Windham hill. Gratuitously emotional. Short of Enya. I am a sucker for this. I listen and love it but will rarely admit to it. Ballerina, whatever, I always see the cover of George Winston's "Autumn" album when I listen to this genre.

@@fionajoymusic It's called Love Forever, and you did a wonderful job creating that song. The other artist's name who wrote it with you is Adam Holtz. It was just released today, about 7 hours ago.

I wrote the song back in 2004 so its not a collaboration and I hadn't hear the lyrics or recording (other than my instrumental recording) I love it when people choose to use my music in videos or to do a cover - although no-one is actually meant to use the original recording without permission, I'm good with it and happy its being enjoyed by others. Its such a grey area because people can make videos using any music on youtube as the music aggregator pays the owner of the copyright int he recording for the plays. I'm assuming Adam just has it there for fun and not as his own release so its all good.

I'm never sure whether to put my foot down or not, if its just for fun then there is no harm, but if it keeps coming up in google as a collaboration that I had no part in, then I'll have to say something. I know there is another one coming out in a week (I googled our names) - as you know people can always do covers, but not if they are using the original recording. I have learned over the years never to make waves when something will cause no ripples - just for fun is perfectly fine. Its lovely to 'virtually' meet you and have you join my channel. xoxo
