I like this cover. The fact that it isn't as good as the original doesn't necessarily make it bad or worthless. Grace Potter has given it an interesting flavor. Worth listening to, for sure.

Me too, but there is dozens of versions of White Rabbit...(a heavy metal by Sanctuary, another by Emiliana Torrini, the pop singer of "jungle drum", some punk versions...) but the original one was the true psychodelic one...

I like this cover. I like the original better though, Grace Slick's voice just fit this song so well. Leave it to her to be the one to get an entire song filled with drug references played on the radio.

I've known the Jefferson Airplane version my entire life and I love it. I don't see how that makes this bad!? GPN didn't butcher it, change the vibe or the arrangement. It's the exact same. Grace is a 60s/70s throwback so if anyone was going to cover it, she's the perfect choice. Both versions have their place.

And little kids wont think it sounds wrong, because unless you were aware of what its really about, you'd never think it. You should listen to some other songs by Grace Potter, I think she's rockin'.

@thevintagekid69 Well considering this isn't a real DISNEY movie... It's a little more complex... and she isn't some tenny bopper. Look her up. Hahaha get your facts straight. She did a good cover. She isn't an idiot, everyone knows what the song is about. But it fit the movie extremely well obviously, so they used it. Who cares what it's REALLY about.

The Emiliana Torrini cover is probably the best . . But maybe because that's the first one I heard. But anyway, the one from the Sucker Punch soundtrack is a better arrangement and singer than this one

@mizzaryj If you have a problem with drugs I want you to go into your room and throw out anything related to music or art. It sucks to say but yes the most influencial people in music or art did do some kind of narcotic. What inspired this girl to do this song was someone who probably did some crazy acid. If your going to sit there and hate on a group of people because of a personal choice I believe your the one whos proven to be "pompous" not only that but completere naive.
