i really appreciate Sarah’s caution when it comes to alcohol. not to sound like a party pooper but throwing up at every party shouldn’t be normalised. especially at 16. i’m all for kids having fun but also think that more parents need to be like Sarah and monitor how much kids are drinking. it’s way more fun to be a bit tipsy rather than being blackout drunk throwing up everywhere. anyways haha, you guys always organise the best parties for your girls!! happy birthday grace 🫶🏼🫶🏼
@@Michael-u8d5l it’s adult supervised, only 2-3 drinks each and considering their parents will most likely have to drop them off they are probably aware too. you can’t act like u never drank at that age, they are doing it quite safely.
I respect sarahs decision shes only 16 and 50 of graces friends is a lot to have at a party its good that they can have a good time without getting drunk grace is still young enjoy it xx
The setup is actually so good, the actors made it incredible. I laughed so much when you found out you’d put the photographer with the scare actors 😂&when you smacked the smoke detector down 😭 i totally get monitoring alcohol& I also appreciate that Joel recognised how it also can be embarrassing. Definitely a good lesson to teach that if your friends really love you then it won’t matter to them. I’d take this party over getting drunk ANY day! I hate the teen girl phase we have where we have so much on show 😖 but these are all phases we experience & look back on awkwardly 😂 with my generation, it was the eyebrows, duck lips& push up bra’s! 🫣🥴
I remember being 15/16ish and on my first “alcohol allowed” party. (I’m from Germany so everyone just started sneaking around at some point in middle school lol) I’m so exited for Grace and happy that you guys are the parents that rather allow and supervise then be strict and have their kids sneak around. At graces age I would’ve preferred this kind of party (feeling safe and everything). Happy birthday Grace 🩷
@@Helena0xley it’s a dress yes, but in the eyes of my dad (and lots of parents seeing the likes the original commenter got on their comment) it would be too short/ too revealing🤷🏽♀️ I don’t have any problems with dresses like this, Grace absolutely slayed that look. But some people do unfortunately
Grace looks amazing . Let’s not lie this is one of the BEST party’s I have EVER seen ! Will Sophie have her own RU-vid Chanel in the next few years ? Would love too see that xx ❤
I love these type of videos! I just love how Joel and Sarah always make their parties so special and memorable, very wholesome family vibes! The parents I aspire to be 🤍
The girls are honestly so lucky to have parents like you. This vlog was so good graces party looked unreal. The effort u put into everything the kids do is evident😍😍
I wish parents had been as cautious as Sarah when I turned 16. I had no issue monitoring my drinking, but now 2 years later many of my friends refuse to drink as all they know is drinking til they puke their guts up or they will only drink to get to that level rather than just enjoying themselves. Thank you DVG for setting a good example!
I've watched u guys for few years now n grace was so shy n okward, but now she no who she is n what she wants, she really came out her shell, few years ago, I didn't think Grace would ever drink or be out going ,but she found herself n I'm glad she is coming out her shell❤
Happy birthday grace I hoped that you enjoyed it. 💕😍💕 I love it when the actors scared of grace, love you DVG. I've been watching you since 2018 💯you are my fav youtubers since forever
I had probably one of the worst school days I’ve ever had yesterday but coming home and watching a dad v girls video really lightened my mood thank you guys❤
Happy birthday Grace . Have a lovely day. I’m afraid regarding the alcohol dilemma it’s very much peer pressure. So I fully respect Sarah for sticking to her guns but understand how Joel does not want Grace to be embarrassed. I hope it all goes well.❤🎉❤🎉❤🎉❤❤🎉❤🎉❤🎉❤
At house parties,we started drinking alcopops at 11 (like 2 bottles) and then 13+ it was a range of alcohol. Then by 15 it was full on. Despite being an adult now,I remember all of the memories from house parties w alcohol. I wouldn't have changed it.10-15yrs on we still talk about them. But sick buckets are a must lol. So glad my mum wasn't strict about it. I'm glad dvg are so open about it and not going to attempt to hide the fact that it's okay to do so and a normal thing ❤
It is not embarassing not to drink when you're underage. I'm 18 and even I don't drink that much. I don't see point in drinking so much I throw up. Like I already hate being sick like that and being sick from drinking alcohol is worse or so I've heard. I'm glad I haven't ever experienced that and I hope I never will.
My sons 15 and I agree. I’d only allow alco pops or fruit cider n that’s it. I don’t drink and I think your doing the right thing to monitor it. I wouldn’t allow my son to go to a party at his age where the parents are ALLOWING them to get shit faced! I don’t think it’s ok! Defo on Sarah’s side xxx
I remember when they said in a q&a years ago Kaci didn’t drink when she was like 15/16 😂 but fair play to Sarah and Joel for accepting and monitoring it because sneaking around the subject of alcohol is way more dangerous. Party looked sick hats off to the decorators 👏❤
I like how Sarah has considered the amount of alcohol. You don’t really wanna be cleaning up that amount of sick to 😂.The asthma pump had me dying* for Daniel only*🤣😭.when maddie saw that clown tho she said bed time for me then🤣.ALSO HAPPY BIRTHDAY GRACE🎉🎉🎉
I remember watching you when Grace was younger and when u used to say that she smoked behind the bike shed and she has grown up so much but she is sopretty happy early birthday 🎉
I completely understand allowing your kids to drink. My parents did the same thing but supplying kids with alcohol publicly seems like a risky move. Either way I hope grace had them best time and all went to plan.
