Sami doesn't tell EJ that she is pregnant. Rafe, Sami's bodyguard in witness protection wants Sami and so he knowingly adopts EJs baby. Then Sami and Rafe pass EJ's baby off as their adopted daughter and spend months keeping EJ in the dark, only for Sami to tell EJ the truth when Grace dies and Rafe has the nerve to tell EJ to go home and give thanks for Johnny. Safe were capital A-Holes. Unknown to all three, Nicole had stolen Sami's baby, Syndey, at birth and substituted Grace. But that still does not absolve Safe from the cruelty of their actions. Rafe is not a good guy. He keeps running around and trying to take other people's children and doesn't seem to mind helping people get away with murder (both Sami attempted murder of EJ and Hope's outright murder of Stafano) and then claims to be law abiding. All of Salem is full of hypocritical people who point the finger at others for things they themselves have done. The Sydney kidnapping was a long, drawn out mess.
