The generation who fought in the Second World War have so much to be proud of and we have so much to be grateful to them for.

It was August 1943. The Rochdale Observer of August 21st has a description of her visit. The lady who went to the same school was named as Miss Curtis but as it was wartime the name of the mill was not revealed. It does mention that there were 2000 employees and my guess is that it was Brights Fieldhouse Mill but could well be wrong.
