Goodness gracious, I wasn't ready for this! Chris has some dreamy flakes but this scratch is one for the record books! WARNING this scratch is not for the faint hearted. I left the original audio in by request. Chris talks low, so using your headphones is advised unless you like silence. Dandruff is rough to experience so be nice with the comments and share this video as much as you can. People don’t know….this isn’t about hygiene or cosmetic stuff. He has a disease…his body literally has an autoimmune response he cannot “fix” …he can only try to identify triggers and adapt accordingly hence his comment about chicken wings, fried food. Chris you’re the best…your attitude and sense of self is so commendable. Keep the faith!❤️

This is more of a condition than a disease. He has a couple of things going on at once. There is product buildup from the braids (probably some type of oil or gel). He has some type of fungal infection, thus the need for the Ketoconozole shampoo, which he probably stopped using. There is ointment and creams that should be used at least twice a day. Iwould put my money on "yeast". If he stopped the braiding and focused on the use of the dermatogist-prescribed products, he would heal. It takes a long time, but it is treatable. His flakes are oily. I am interested in seeing him free from this and well.

Good Lord. I'm in my 50's now, but when I was in my 20's, I had bad dandruff. I wasn't drinking enough water. I wasn't eating right. I only put junk in my body. I enlisted in the Marine Corps and all of that changed. Water became A must because we worked out every day. Junk food wasn't available during boot camp so when I went to my first occupational school, I didn't crave any candy. I was all about staying hydrated and eating right to make muscle gains. I haven't had dandruff since then. Diet, exercise, and mental well being will go A long way.

Not seeing the shampoo is anticlimactic. Knowing those flakes are going down the drain is almost as satisfying as watching the scratch. Still, we love our Chris! Thanks for an awesome scratch.

This was well worth the wait!!! Already watched 3 times. I miss the more talkative Chris. He wasn't creeping most of us out. He's our favorite. My sisters and I had mounds of "growing dandruff" as kids and the scratcher was the one doing the loud ooohs and ahhhs. Thanks for an epic video. And thank you, Chris, for your service.

It’s a lil sad and I can see n hear in his voice it’s affecting Chris.we all may think, “oh wow man cool, crazy huge flakes so satisfying to watch” but poor Chris and others are the ones suffering with this. It affects how you feel in life, your self esteem etc etc. Chris, I feel for you… ideally I want this to all get sorted out for you so you don’t have to deal with this condition. I spray and scratch my own scalp with diluted apple cider vinegar before I go to the salon. It help to soften the plaque and clears my hair better.

It is possible to cure the condition. I'm living proof. It takes time and dedication. The braids are making it worse, actually. He needs to use the ketoconazle shampoo, creams and ointment as prescribed. When he has a bad flare-up like this, he needs to be seen by the dermatologist. I suspect most of this is product build-up from whatever was used to braid his hair. I was allergic to hair gel. Whenever it was used, my dermatitis was out of control.

One tip!….I’d be offering cotton wool to pop in clients ears, nothing too plug them up so they can’t hear when your talking to them but just something that will inhibit any micro flakes from getting into he ear canal. The last thing ppl need is to add any other medical issues or creating more build up in ears than exists naturally. X

Excellent scratch. This direction I can see the flakes lifting and coming off the scalp. When you do it the other way (most videos) I never see the flakes coming off the scalp. Thank you both so much.
