ive recently had my mark 5 stolen and my insurance has paid me out for it. im wondering if this machine will suit my needs. i have a small team doing residential new buildings mainly. i spray heavy material where i would typically need a 423 tip and cannot thin the product. i also like to spray plaster through it to cover stripped wallpaper/level 5 etc. how viscous does the material have to be for this machine to handle it?
Hi Daniel it will spray mud with some thinning required (pre labeled green mud generally sprays fine without much thinning). Your paint the tip size is fine for this unit, you want to verify in your technical data sheet for the paint the pressure needed if its under 3000 psi then this unit should be fine if more than that this may not be the best option.
Mark IV and Mark V or Mark X can push tip max to .33 .39 or .45 all of them has max pressure 3300, you can spray plaster, epoxy, block filler, with no thin in all I have a Graco Max XL695 using for all paint's and Graco Mark V using for Plaster, Block Filler, Epoxy, Zink Primer ..... any Graco TexSpray pump can push the plaster and block filler
