Omg.. I stumbled upon your video after a very confusing frustrating video from the manufacturer. You made this SUPER EASY and explain quick and easy. Thank you so much!!!❤😊
Spent an hour trying to understand the instructions and other videos, waste of time, watched yours and did it in five minutes, awesome! Keep up the good work 😁
Awesome video, simplifies installation to three easy steps. Grayco should send you a stipend for your great instructional video, much better than their provided documentation. Cheers!
Hello from NYC….Just wanted to say thank you for this easy explained Instruction Video! I just watched like 20 other videos b4 I came across yours. You’ve helped me and my 2 year old out so much and all it took was 3 minutes. It was straight to the point without too much talky talky about things other than what you said the video was about. So again THANK YOU and have a Blessed day 😊
Very good understandable video! Thank you! One detail which could be added is that you have to pull out the strap completely to get it in ‘childseat mode’, meaning it blocks any strap movement in case of a crash and you can really pull the seat firm.
You are my savior after watching many videos that didn’t make sense I finally find yours.you are amazing 🤩 i feel like i wanna hug you lol ❤❤❤❤thank you for the knowledge 😊
Fits perfectly rear-facing in our truck, which has a slightly smaller back seats. ru-vid.comUgkx6_FKRYB2ClSPRyjcd8HptiCS3EiQoNX4 Feels as comfy and plush as our Graco Contender carseat.
I believe the lower anchor attachments are important that will help the car seat not to move front and back. Refer Section 7-A Page 43 and 44 of the manual.
@@mikemesaros4329 It does. The front anchor needs to be adjusted. To do so, you have to open the front cover completely. I will try to post something if the manual is not clear. I also had the same issue but after a few try and a help from my friend, I got it resolved
Yes, you have to open the part where the child sits, slide the anchors up and through the orange area and loosen the anchor straps almost all the way. It is much more secure to use the anchor straps
Hi i enjoyed watching your front facing carseat video. I have a need for you to pls advise where to find your rear facing baby carseat video for my baby
Hi there PhillipsFamBabyJourney, I just wanted to point out that where you say at 1:57, that “you no longer need the bottom latches for forward facing…” is not correct. I almost thought the same as you. In fact, you can and must absolutely use the bottom latches for forward facing also! You have to unbutton the cushion and slide the bottom strap to the forward facing (orange slots or the booster skis if booster position). It is explained here in this video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-qij5If__L0U.html I just did this. The car seat is so much more taut and sturdier now, that it was just using the seat belt. It’s moving a lot less than just using the seat belt to anchor. The manual does not do a good job of explaining this, but pictures show they are using the bottom strap too. Can you please change it in your video as well? There seems to be a lot of people who’ve done it just like you’ve explained and following what you’ve described. It’s safer to have the bottom anchor strap too. Have a good one! God Bless!
Yes you can use the latches in forward facing mode after rerouting the latches but once the child weighs more than 45pounds per the manual you can no longer use the latch system in forward facing mode.
YOU DEFINITELY need the bottom latches for extra safety. This is wring information. Please, if anyone is eber confused always reach out to your nearest fire station and they will definitely helo you out with accurate information. You STILL NEED TO hook the bottom latches to the car so the carseat doesn't shift around when driving.
Per the manual on page 21, you can use the latches in forward facing mode until the child weighs 45 pounds. Then you must use the seatbelt. She is not doing anything unsafe by using the seat install method. Also most car seats require use of either the seat belt or latch system to install not both as this can actually make the seat unsafe in an accident.
There’s a way you can properly install your car seat using that same rear facing gray belt. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-qij5If__L0U.htmlfeature=shared
Yes that’s correct, but once the child weighs more than 45pounds you can no longer use the latch system in forward facing mode. You must use the seat belt. Just fyi for those who are unaware of weight limits since these manuals are confusing.
