I have been following John Gidding for many years. Even met him in person. He is just as kind and friendly and always smiling in person as he is on tv.

I agree my Italian cousin has trouble pronouncing, and saying the right English word and my friends tease him when he doesn't say the words right. It gives him a complex, so he speaks Italian and I translate lol
I think he has a good sense of humor. It wasn't mean or bullying and, I think John is from Turkey, isn't he. He has made fun of his own pronunciations. Miss him.
I think the French tend to be really hard on themselves if they speak English with an accent, so maybe he wasn't finding it so funny. Yet we love their French accent, no?
