Uncle Malume..Am upgrading my maths and u seem to be my only source of information as am not attending any class..i believe that u'll will equip me fully on my way to getting a distinction..Much appreciated❤
heyyyy so for 5.2.1 you can draw the triangle right and the angles inside of it so there is angle 42, angle 90 and angle 48 cause of angles in a triangle when you draw your triangle obviously in terms of cos 42 your adjacent is p and your hypotenuse is 1 then your opposite angle which you find through pythag is under one square root 1-p^2(p^2 just means p squared) remember in your triangle you found angle 48 right you will say sin 48 equals to opposite over hypotenuse which will be p/1 and that’s why we got p only
put how he does in the video is he used the co-sin reduction which is cos(90-42) which will change to cos(48) cause 90-42 equals 48 so that’s how he did it i hope this helps
