I think the host got sentimental in lines 9-12 😂😂😂 she forgot about the background as reference but its all love. I think the direction was suppossed to link to the background as the poet was trying to comfort the widow, something on the likes of "the word 'men' emphasises the fact that the widow lost her husband and she(the widow) is obligated to bury her husband whom she loved. This is also reinforced by the widow being unable to be comforted by the speaker. Blah blah blah."
