Dream on. Look at the attendance of both games. Chicago 3rd largest city Dallas 12th. We don't know what the actual numbers yet.

Angel had an 19,000 seat NBA sized arena but could barely fill a 3rd of it. But if she wasn't there, it would of been waaaaay less so I'll give her that. Caitlin had a slightly smaller 7,000 seat arena but packed it to the brim! Tickets were sold out. Not only were they sold out, they eventually reached NBA level prices well above $600 when normally those same preseason tickets couldn't even be given away for free.

For a true comparison we need to see Caitlin's streaming numbers.

WNBA is brilliant. They focused on what is gonna make.them money after never making money.

You gotta remember this is still just the preseason and that everyone will get coverage during the regular season

IF I want cosmetics and skin care on social media, I will check out Reece... But if I want to watch exceptional women's basketball, I will check out Clark.

I think they need to do some wind sprints to get in shape enough to run the court like the supporting cast did at Iowa. Caitlin can really deal the passes but she does run the others a lot.

They definitely need more conditioning and need to work on chemistry to be able to gel better so that way they will be able to catch those passes and just know where everyone is on the court to know where to be and can just pass the ball without having to look but be there knowing that CC is going to get them the ball like Iowa was but that takes time and playing together consistently.

Iowa was a better TEAM than Indiana is, at the moment.

The Dallas Wings arena capacity is 7K and had attendance of 6200 with CC. The Lynx play in the Timberwolves arena with capacity of 19K. Chicago Sky vs Minnesota Lynx had attendance of 7000 with Reese/Cardoso. Interesting how "they" want to push that the Sky game was in an empty arena without telling the full story.

@@teesulli833it wasn’t an attendance of 6,200 they said it was a sold out crowd so if it had 7,000 seats they had an attendance of 7,000 which included people that traveled all the way from states such as Minnesota to watch her play along with New Mexico and the like. They know what that means for the local economy and why they are going to promote that over others because of that. Right now CC is the one that is moving the needle and we need to be honest about that fact. Also what many don’t want to be honest about in regards to Angel is that yes she has more followers then CC but they follow her not because of her basketball but because they love her for her clothing, makeup, what to see what she is doing, her influencer status and there is nothing wrong in that and I say do you girl and make some $$$ get endorsements based off of that, why not? Get some clothing, makeup, and the like to be endorsed by! She would be amazing for that. So we need to be honest that she isn’t going to be moving the needle for the WNBA in terms of selling tickets and ratings for the league. Teams are having to move to larger venues to accommodate the demand for tickets for fever games. I’m not saying that they shouldn’t also have broadcast both games but the WNBA knows that for them if they have to choose they are going with the player that is moving the needle and the one that makes profit. She alone made the Iowa economy $82 million last year alone and they know that and are counting on that for their business. They know that when fans turn in to watch the fever games they will also see the other players and in doing so become fans of them and start to watch their games. That’s how the women’s college basketball game grew to what it is today. Where the games now see 500,000 to 2 million viewers and CC and Iowa get 4 to 5 million on their regular games. They are hoping to do the same but that took 2 years to do. We are going to have growing pains along the way and can’t expect them to be perfect and not make mistakes along the way but need to give them the grace to make those mistakes. Knowing that by having the fever on national tv for 38 of their games also means those other teams also will be on nation broadcasts as well at least more then 1 time while playing the fever giving every team in the league just as much exposure to gain more fans and love from the public.

There were more people in attendance at the Sky v. Lynx game than the Fever v. Wings game. Ultimately, this is irrelevant. People purchased a league pass thinking that they could watch the game because that’s what it said on the WNBA press release, but the game wasn’t available for people to watch. They could have aired both games or scheduled the games at different times. They could have let people watch the Fever game for free and while letting the Sky game be available to paid subscribers.

Mad because a white girl scored 21 points in 28 minutes in their debut. And Brown even Cooper said she really not a rookie, she played pro for four different teams over seas when she got cut from the WNBA. so Brown does have more experience than the college girls.
