I think a B for the Danish kit is generous. Tire tracks is the same description I've always used for the pattern. It looks like it's been run over by a truck, which is actually a good analogy for how we performed in the tournament. I have this shirt in my closet but it rarely comes out these days.
One man’s “basic” is another man’s “classic”. I like classic kits. If it isn’t broke, you don’t need to fix it. Yea it might not be flashy, but it still looks good by being simple.
I remember watching WC2010 and wanting the Dutch Home jersey & the Japanese Home jersey- Something about the Japanese Kits that are always classy and unique. I bought the Korean Home Kit and was supporting our Asian teams! Cue Honda and Endo's stunning free kicks vs Denmark :)

In my opinion, sometime around the 2015/2016 era, sports companies realised that football jerseys aren’t meant to be just worn on the pitch during a match and can be marketed as a fashion wear so that’s why nowadays you see companies competing to see who can out-design the other and the way it’s marketed is clearly for fashion alongside the sport itself. Obviously this does boost the sales since more people are now aware of the outfit potential a football jersey has but it also explains why in recent years we’ve been seeing more creative designs for the club and national teams’ jerseys.
Minimalism is fine especially if it’s inspired by history. So many modern kits nowadays are too busy and too flashy for the sense of being busy and flashy. Some kits look ridiculous when scaling it back a little will make it look so much better.

France's home kit was great, really nice colours and so much better than nearly every awful nike kit they've had since which look like fake rugby shirts with hardly any detail. Mexico's home shirt is definitely way better than a D though.

In my opinion it's hard to judge the kits from the pictures you use. For me the fit is 90% of the look. For example, the Uruguay kits, the don't look bad on those pictures, but they are tight fit and look terrible when they actually wear them. That's actually the case for most Puma shirts.
I'm glad you didn't rate England actual performances at 2010, because the rating would look like and Arctic temperature reading, -50 or something.. Fabio Cappelo is the worst England manage of all time.. and was paid more than 3x what Vincent's Del Bosque was paid, a manager who absolutely conquered the whole of football with the best national team I think I've ever seen?! England international football was a real mess during those years.. long live that Spanish team!! What a damn team!! I don't think any team of any time would have beaten them.. out of this world, long live Espana 2008-2012
