Kenny is a helluva dude! He’s the most successful yet stays doing things with and for his boys! They work for everything they got of course but he makes sure they get their shine.
It’s wild that people don’t like when y’all get off topic. Personally, I love hearing y’all stories and getting to know y’all better. A lot of stories y’all tell are funny as hell too! I’ve been following Kenny for the past decade and just started listening to this pod maybe 2 years ago and it’s dope to get to know the rest of the guys.
Some of my favorites parts of any good podcast are when the host trail off into authentic conversation. You can hear basketball talk anywhere it’s cool just hearing them chat it up like they’re in a game party.
I swear I prefer the after show over basketball talk. Mostly cause I already know the news, rumors, etc. I’m not really watching for knowledge I’m just watching cause they cool as hell and entertaining. I still enjoy the bball talk but the after show is the real gold for me, shit funny as hell
That boy Dmills thorough in everything he do. He was a dedicated chef at a restaurant. Gained a-lot of basketball knowledge in a couple years and he's becoming a better editor & content creator everyday 💪🏻
#dropthemike I think John Collins is the perfect answer for Comeback player of the year. Came off averaging the least amount of points (outside of his rookie season) and shooting the worst field goal percentage of his career. Now in another market in Utah, I think he can shine as potentially a 18-20 ppg scorer, since there aren’t a lot of people to take the ball out of his hands. Especially with a great development coach in Will Hardy he can have a bounce back season for sure in a new market Love the podcast and keep up what y’all doing ❤
#dropthemike i think russell westbrook can have a comeback season with a full season in a clippers uniform, and i do think simmons can improve this upcoming season. not 76ers version of ben but a solid starter, especially with now no pressure on the nets to contend for a title
As a hornets fan I hope y’all get him, I think if he gets in a better situation he could be an impactful player, I’m Charlotte he’s just a chucker most the time which you can’t blame him someone gotta shoot it especially last year
#DropTheMike I’m going with Jarrett Allen not that he even had a bad year but I think he’s looked at lately as a liability for his subpar playoff performance. I think he’ll have another solid year anchoring one of the best defenses along with Mobley in the league. And I think he’ll elevate this playoffs rather than turn into a shell of himself. Shows a lot about his character that he’s able to acknowledge and not hide from the fact that the lights were too bright and also understand what it takes mentally and physically to play playoff basketball.
i love ttw because they start with the topic and i’ll be listening and then start talking about people i’ve never met before and he thinking inknow them. got my ass sitting here like “aye kyron bogus as hell for that”
So cool to see yall get noticed and recognized in public. Been watching from the start, and I cant believe how much all of you have improved in rhe pod
I’m not gonna lie I think Austin is a better producer than Anwar because Austin seems like he actually cares about basketball ( that’s why he does good research on the spot ) while Anwar is more lifestyle interest he adds to the pod
I wanna commend Mike for a regular fit. It’s not like “Fashion Week” or nothing, but it’s cool. No three different tones of the same color or anything like that. Good stuff,
Hey Kenny I know you might disagree with this but considering there being the largest turnover percentage in ownerships in the nba, the largest amount of investment into sports influx of takeovers in other sports like PIf taking over gold and football teams being taken over why do bulls fans not protest against ownership and utilising your platform to ask players to not go to games? The model is designed to invest as little as possible and maximise as much profits as possible thats why the bulls being number one in fan attendence is actually horrible it’s a detriment to the franchise your platform could be a spring jump to affect sponsorship and shares of the bulls to a slight extent and if you could Collate with other bulls supporters could lead to meaningful change I know it sounds lofty but genuinely feel like unless fans try and put some form of pressure they won’t see anything
#dropthemike take this with a grain of salt coming from a warriors fan, but andrew wiggins did miss a lot of time last year because of personal reasons. if he can come out starting the season better than ever, he can be a dark horse
#dropthemike i think chris paul will have a comeback season. playing with steph klay and dray is going to elevate his game so much, and he’s gonna elevate them. I don’t think they go far in the playoffs, but cp3 will look much better. i don’t buy simmons at all i think this is his make or break year though
#dropthemike thinking off the wall not following the injury vibe, comeback player of the year for me will be temetrius jamal morant. I think this will be the year he has a character comback.
