I think it would've been better to have a third category of utility, since it doesnt make sense to qualify mushroom boosts as attack unless you are the heviest combo in a track whete you can fall off and you bumo someone. Also, mushrooms should be higher defensively because they can also save you from redshells via wall dodging. And green shells should also be higher due to back throws being way easier to do, being less expected, more fun for you, more annoying to those behind you and causing chaos in the back. And if you had utilty bananas could have a good utility due to being able to trap shortcuts, specially shroomless ones
You are totally correct but for the sake of simplicity, all of my rankings were split up like this, offense: anything you could do in front of you with the items to move you past people, defense: anything you could do behind you to help secure your placement. I didn’t explain that in video but i believe all of our opinions match up when you look at it from that perspective, except wall dodging with mushrooms because that didn’t occur to me 😭
@@EskyYT That's a better way to put it, then yeah, it does match up that way. No worries about the mushroom waldodge, its still something that depends on your combo too, all inside drift bikes are able to wall dodge with any character and so are most outside bikes, but some that are wider can only wall dodge with medium or small characters and something similar goes for karts and atvs and some of them aren't even able to wall dodge, so it isn't only mushrooms
