Leveling out several loads of fill dirt to build a house pad. I didn't film the entire process cause that would have been really boring to watch. And the whole thing changed in the afternoon lol! #EliteEarthworks

Hey man whenever you want to trade loaders I'm ready! I love it when they give wrong information. That's my favorite plot twist ever 🙄🙄 good job pushing through the mud though!

Rogue Excavating thank you! That is how we were before this last week. We were about 12” behind on rain so we get 9” in one week. Go figure it’s feast or famine here. How warm does it get up there?Thanks for watching

It's a bummer when you get the wrong info, you work on what's right then they shift the goal posts I'm sure you will get it right in the end.

You weren’t going fast enough!! There wasn’t any material flying off the tracks!! Lol!!! As much as people think the sun is our friend for drying ground out, it really isn’t. We need wind. I thought the sun was important too when I was green but all it does is cook the top surface. I couldn’t believe the difference a tracked bobcat made on wet ground until I got in one. You can at least make the day instead of getting sent home. Nice job!
@eliteearthworksllc
@eliteearthworksllc 6 лет назад
Richard Savaglio that is definitely true. The wind is the big factor in drying things out. A cloudy windy day is better for that than a sunny still day. Yes tracks make all the difference in the world. I would not have been able to work that day if I had a wheel machine. Thanks for the kind words and for watching

todd fraser appreciate the feedback the only time I use music is when I use the time lapse feature because it does not record sound. It just takes pictures and puts them together in a video. Thanks for watching

Does the pad get rolled to flatten and compress the earth? Does a soil engineer (or someone) test for density, appropriateness for building?
@eliteearthworksllc
@eliteearthworksllc 6 лет назад
Ted Bell not usually I get it as flat as possible with a laser and the concrete guys come in and dig a footing to virgin ground. Then they form the slab by stacking to 2x8, fill it with base rock, compact it then plumb it and pour the slab. I guess the floor kinda floats over the fill dirt. It’s crazy how they do it. Thanks for watching
