How do we grade the job the Titans did drafting over the weekend? The 2024 NFL Draft class provided seven new players - five on defense and two on offense - and all of them could continuer for the team quickly. The strategy was to address depth on defense and add power along both lines of scrimmage. Getting JC Latham at left tackle and T'Vondre Sweat along the defensive line does just that. Could they have traded back in the second round and still drafted Sweat?
They also landed a starting linebacker in Cedric Grey with their fourth round pick who is already slated to wear the green dot for the defense as the primary play-caller. Cornerback Jarvis Brownlee is a perfect fourth cornerback who plays mean, can return punts/kicks and can play both inside and out, Wideout Jha'Quan Jackson is small but fast and tough. He will challenge for reps in the slot and also in the return game. Michigan edge player Jaylen Harrell has NFL pedigree and Miami's converted linebacker (from safety) James Williams has elite athletic ability - he was the No. 1 safety prospect in the nation coming out of high school.
Zach Lyons and Braden Gall break down the Tennessee Titans 2024 draft class.
