Takes me back to being 4 years old in 1994 playing this game 🥲 the music was phenomenal. And by the way, I’m still playing this game in 2023 with the original console
Yes I remember being 5 or 6 playing super r type and this game ❤ my dad played Vegas stakes so I love that one too now even tho I just watch him...play. now my dad has passed away and I'm sad and happy when I turn it on...❤
LOL, do you remember the lag when there were too many sprites on the screen? I found it helpful....like a slowdown when things got dicey....then when it cleared out it went faster than expected and I would die. lol.
One of my all time favorite games to play on SNES - this game holds a very special place in a beautiful part of my childhood. Best songs are Monarch @ 33:25 and the Final Stage @ 44:40.
Not even close. Every character has a pattern. Sorry you couldnt make it through the bum rush at the special upgrade level. :) When I was 5 I was running cycles through the difficulties. Even more so when I discovered Snes9x came out 8 years later. Keyboards made it mundanely easy.
One of the greatest arcade to home conversions ever. They took a game that was solid but had some huge flaws and improved on it in every way to the point where its the definitive version of Gradius lll.
Dude this gane was crazy af kinda gave u the chill playing as a kid really made u feel in there was hella hard at the same time beat only one time and im 28 😂
One of the best SNES games $20 could buy/ $3.50 to rent in the 90's. We fossil's miss you Konami. While most of the best tracks are at the end, 'In The Wind' is #1. It has 'remake menu screen' potential. xD
@@AmitDabydeen Lol. I swear I can still recall the smell of my old video rental place. A rental of Gradius, Killer Instinct, and Donkey Kong 2; topped off with a pizza and some family n friends! Man, little did we know how great we had it in the 90's!
I literally improved my hand and eye coordination from the Crystal Labyrinth 29:30 . All i can hear now is "Speed Up". My all time boss fight music is 37:00
People who did not play games never understood the value and the brain development games provided. From simulations to problem solving, gamers are way more intelligent than most of the population on Earth
LOL, your not the only one man!! Damn shame, gaming isn't what it used to be, full of micro transactions and you don't get the whole game anymore when you first buy it!!
I beat the entire game on Arcade difficulty in 1 life :) ...because I had to... Recovering from a death was just not gonna happen for me. Also, I was 23yo when I achieved this. I've had the game since I was 6yo >.>
There was a Gradius Arcade Soundtrack compiling most gradius music and sfx, must be difficult to find and expemsive, maybe konami has something digital if you want to buy them, its also alteady here
So, for me (being 10 years old at the time), this was like Konami's "other half". SCV4's ost was amazing in my ears, but for the classical realism. This has the very same energy but with a future-synth vibe. Both are absolute masterpieces. Konami was on FIRE with these two titles & the SNES soundcard was excellent.
