@@JoshuaValour By the way, your review of the Stax L300 limited + SRM-353X helped me make the decision to go for that combination and I'm very happy with the result, so thank you. I think I was lucky to find a 230V version of the limited edition SRM-353X. The stars kind of aligned, I guess.
@@JoshuaValour His assessment is in line with most other reviewers, many of whom have been reviewing audio equipment for a living for many years, not like the plethora of inexperienced guys here on RU-vid.
@@JoshuaValour Josh Valour also thinks Game of Thrones Season 8 was awesome. Just take that into consideration. *For those who dont watch GoT, Season 8 was objectively awful in every possible way.
I often ask myself how many people are paid by grado? This is a complete bullshit ! This thing is the worst I ever use. I was confused the first time I tryed them. Unconftable, the sound is weird, the price ridiculous.
Are you kidding me? At that price, the build is flimsy. They use the same headband from the SR80, RS2e, etc. I love the grados and have used the sr80, sr325, the rs2e and stopped there. After that, it's hard to justify paying more when the build stays mostly the same
Well, it just goes to show how subjective audio is. I own the Beyerdynamic T1 and have heard most of the flagship headphones. Grado GS1000e is one of my favourites without a doubt. There can be different opinions and that is ok.
The headband on the $80 headphones are thin, plastic-y, and don't have any cushioning other than it taking advantage of the lightness of the headphone. The headband on the $300 headphones (and above) are made of genuine leather with moderate cushioning and improved material quality (hence the real leather business). Today, Grado has put plush on the cheaper headphones, and the leather headbands are still being used on the more expensive ones, which, you can probably tell, means that the leather headband is still king.
@@XGamin1 What a load of BS.... Apart from the real leather cover it is the same shitty plastic rod blocks and swivel mechanism which BTW is guaranteed to twist, turn and destroy the non-interchangeable cables since it can rotate. Ask me how I know.... You get it now?
@@konstantinost3185 Oh I definitely understand the rod blocks and swivel mechanism which needs to be thickened and the blocks need to be turned to metal. I've even considered that in the past. It's just the headband that isn't really a good argument.
