I started running again in January 2022. Since then I have stopped 5 times because of the pain. It was too bad to continue. I started over and over again. Literally step by step. I've been running again for 3 months now and it's finally going well. I now run almost 10 kilometers. Sometimes while running I feel pain in my knee or ankle. I say to my brain: ssss, calm down. There's nothing wrong. Fortunately, I can say that with confidence and without fear. Every time the pain disappears and I can move on. It’s amazing. So don't give up, keep on trying. Your brain finally will get the message that what you are doing is safe. It takes time. This achievement makes me very happy and also very proud.

Happy New Year 🎉. Starting every day with your video and throughout the day I hear your words "You are okay & safe". I did brute force when I went on a small break with a friend and she was not capable to push my wheelchair enough... So I got out and pushed it myself as help and got a chronic inflamation under my foot. Big set back so yes 6 steps 👣 and gradually now and stepping up the length of walking and sitting and so on. When it hurts more I hear your words "You are okay, you are safe". Baby steps, thank you for your loving guidance, much appreciated 🙏❤🙏

Thank you for this Dan, this is what I'm doing with the food intolerances. I have them bad, like every food reacts, and if I just think "to hell with it" and start eating all the things, I'll be bed bound, so best way I've found is gradual, bit by bit, starting with the easier foods, all the time knowing there's nothing wrong with me and keeping that knowing on a cellular level, and just carrying on and being indifferent to the symptoms. It seems to be working, although still early days as this takes huge bravery to do. But yes, as you say, I'm expecting the best, and just stay with the knowing. Thank you for everything you give us Dan, I appreciate it so much 🙏

I'm up for a pain free 2023...yes please, thank you kindly! Every mile begins with the first step...the slow drip, drip, drip effect of water on a stone will, over time, wear that stone down. The "little" (sometimes seemingly inconsequential & easily overlooked or dismissed things)...when added up....make a huge difference. It may not be a linear path...but keep keeping onward. Finally I have joined the group...one of my steps onward!! Love nature, she is so calming (without leaf blowers!!) Much love.🌻

Hey Dan, it's Christie. Happy new year firstly!! I hope you had a lovely one. That's exciting re the groups. So for me, any day during the week or weekend would be great but I would love a session a little earlier for I guess the folks in the UK Europe group as I do struggle it being so late in the evening when I'm trying to wind down. So I'm just thinking that anything from 12pm onwards GMT time? Ideally I would love a morning session but I'm in the wrong part of the world for that as we don't want you up in the night. But if not, not a problem. I will always make Wednesday evening work because joining the group was the BEST decision I ever made and it is what has help me progress more than I ever could have imagined and that's all down to you Dan so thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Brute force - tough it out is not the way. Staying in bed or on the couch won’t help at all. Little by little - ppl start doing more and more! I hear the warning signal. I’m going to do XYZ ….. 6 steps to resuming the activity pain free. Keep visualising yourself sitting in a chair at restaurant for dinner. Some ppl can’t sit, walk, eat, etc. so, visualise yourself doing the activities - the most important thing is how you respond to it. Do, the activities little by little -- brain why are you turning up the symptoms. There’s nothing dangerous. What about a documented recent injury? A month ago in back? Constantly avoiding the pain avoiding the pain. You have to be willing to accept the pain - do the thing gradually each day. How you respond if symptoms do show up?

Notice quite a few comments re the financial side. Maybe a bi.weekly group session might be affordable for many more people on the fence, just a thought. I really enjoyed and benefitted from the two months I attended. Weekly 2hr + session great value but at 6pm GMT I was tired after an hour n a half. Knew January was gonna be busy and watching on catch up not my thing. I wholeheartedly recommend anyone with TMS PDP to try and attend even if just for a month.
@PainFreeYou
@PainFreeYou Год назад
That is a good point, but it becomes a logistical challenge to run two pricing structures and trying to keep track of who shows up to which sessions. It would literally require me to have two programs managed separately instead of one. I'm in the planning stages of mapping out the year and the best way to set this up.
@1STBUCKLEY

I'm so confused.. if it's an old Injury? & TMS gets to it now.. has the same pain 2 years ago and then it vanished. Now it's back same spot side of breast / ribs.. it dosnt move around ' so is it injury or TMS? I cured my back through sarno 6 years ago. What do I treat it as ? Avoid gym' tell it to go away ? Heal it as muscle Injury.. so exhausted..docs useless
@PainFreeYou
@PainFreeYou Год назад
It's TMS - the pain that vanished is proof your body is perfectly fine. The fact that it came back is only evidence of one thing. The brain is perceiving some type of danger. You do NOT need to figure out the danger. Focus on clarity that your body is perfectly fine and focus on messages of safety. This video explains the concept of perceived danger. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-tnU6KBAv5fg.html That's all that's going on.
