Girls, central train station in Italy's main cities are bad. Rome, Naples, Milan. Don't hang out at the station and wait to be in better neighborhoods before filming.

"I studied at La Sapienza" ...Condolences, really. La Sapienza has only the name. Apart from that, it's a giant mess with a terrible management and organization. A lot of students regretted choosing this university, so do I.

Seriously?!.. Which faculty you were in? I'm sorry to hear that Marco. In fact I'm stuck between choosing medicine in La Sapienza and Federico II of Naples... La Sapienza seems very tempting

@@alidavari6958 I am studying aerospace engineering and have seen a lot of nonsense over the years. Information for the exams communicated at the last moment, the secretariat that every time says "Look on the site" instead of giving information itself, if the information is not present on the site and / or is confusing. I have seen professors think only of their subject and do not care in the least that students have multiple subjects throughout the year and cannot study only for their subject. So they end up doing very long programs and loaded with topics, almost overstepping what they should do based on the number of credits given by the exam. I have even seen professors go straight to the program and leave the tutor of their subject to do important exercises for the subject and for the exam, all in extra-school hours, when students are supposed to have to study for other subjects as well; and may fail to be there for their tutor. I have even seen professors correct over 150 written exams in less than 2 days, resulting in partly inaccurate corrections and the subsequent admission of barely 10% of students to the oral exam. In short, I saw a general and widespread indifference, aimed solely at making the university and the professors go on, regardless of how many students are rejected and go out of course. And without stopping at all to think that if SO many people have no difficulty, maybe it's their wrong methods and not the students who don't study. Maybe you will be fine with Medicine, because there is an university hospital at La Sapienza. But here at Engineering it's a terrible experience, totally focused only on theory and theory, with sooo few practice parts and informatic parts that can really prepare to the future and to work. It's a too old-style teaching method, and too much based on making the professors stay well, instead of the students. I understand that the students need to stay strong and that they must apply, but the university should create a goon environment for them, not the opposite.

@@zodiark93 That seems horrible, I'm really sorry to hear that. I've been searching here and there to see how are the Italian universities in general and as you've mentioned some of them I've found that there are a few things that from south to up north are common between all courses regardless of the university. Disorganization is THE most common aspect between all of them, from Padua to the north to Messina in Sicilly without exception has this issue and I think everything else just revolves around this matter or comes from it directly or indirectly. I've a major in psychology outside of Italy and I''ve encountered "Look on the site" reply and lazy/indifferent secretarists so many times during my years of study that I can't even count them. So yeah sadly, I hear you on that.. And "focusing mostly on the theory" is another issue I've heard so many times, which you've mentioned yourself, even in Medicine that I know of.
