Ryan your new haircut looks awesome on you. i used to watch this podcast, then i took a LONG break- now i’m back and there are three? but they’re usually not together? like what happened to ryan? very confusing- i know it truly doesn’t matter but i’m so curious if anyone knows the answer

I'm real hit and miss in having the time to watch the RU-vid episodes. Tonight, I'm playing catch up. I have to say, Ryan, I love you haircut! And I do miss seeing you regularly on the episodes.
Thank you for all the years on RU-vid. I quit social media (Facebook) during pandemic lock down...Best decision I ever made! So freeing! My social media anxiety instantly disappeared once I signed off. And you are right...even though I "watch" your RU-vid videos...I really listen to them while I am preping food or folding laundry!
I’ve been working on our home for about 2 months.. I finally have the health to do it and it just weighed so heavy on me so I got started decluttering and once I started, the motivation slowly kicked in and now I just can’t stop until it’s done! I found your channel here maybe 2 weeks in.. it’s been so great! I listen to you guys pretty much every day as well as a few others. Now I am seeing the results and it feels so great! The major work is done now it’s a bunch of annoying little stuff but my goal is to do at least one thing every day- one thing in the trash, one thing to donate, and one thing put away. I am also determined to change my habits to support living a more minimal, simplified life. I don’t ever want to be in this place again! I’ve kept a daily journal of everything I do to declutter & organize bcs in the beginning, that first week I know I let go of so much stuff but I couldn’t tell at all by looking at my house. When I look back at the pages, it’s crazy how much has been done and just how much my house has held, stuffed into corners, bins, boxes.. and how many clothes my closet held too! Also crazy how filthy the space is under, behind & around all the clutter. 😣 I am cleaning some as I go but I also plan to do a super good deep clean once we are done. I definitely am feeling lighter and happier and I can’t wait til I feel “done” with all this that has built up mostly over the last 10 years of illness but also a lifetime of not being good at letting go or organizing/ decluttering… I am transforming once again and it’s pretty exciting!
I love this. Giving things up that aren't inherently bad but don't necessarily bring long-lasting joy. This episode really spoke to me more than I thought. I've been wanting to fully dump my smartphone and I've made every excuse why not to. I need it for work, I need a more reliable maps app, what about my music?! Listening to this, I see the unhealthy and maybe unreal realities of my attachment. So today, I'm ditching my iPhone for my Light phone. Disappearing from the netherworld to be fully present in the real world. Thank you, my friends!

I stumbled across you guys while feeling the burden of physical clutter. I learned that getting rid of stuff will give me time, space, & energy to think, be, and get clearer about who I am and what I want. Then came the realization that this is not going to be a magical destination. My problems will be here even clearer for me to face when the physical clutter is gone. You have made me reflect on all the non physical clutter in my life and it is quite overwhelming to realize the scope of the changes I need to consider. You continue to show how you are letting go in your own lives. I will truly miss seeing your faces. Thank you for showing through your continued actions what minimalism is all about and for inspiring me to live it.
I hate endings, graduation, moving on.. it always gives me a horrible feeling in the pit of my stomach. I'm going to miss your videos. Ryan looks so hott! 😉
I have never said anything about Ryan's longer hair because, seriously...wouldn't that be the total antithesis to the entire "The Minimalist" message of being true to yourselves? MY opinion on your hair really doesn't matter. You need to do what makes YOU happy. However...in the spirit of positive feedback and affirmation, I will chime in now and say that I have always thought the shorter haircut is way more flattering to Ryan's face! It doesn't change your inner "handsome" one little bit, but the new outside look is truly looking great!

I find the minimalists on RU-vid …but they become more minimalist and disappear! It makes sense. I enjoy the reminders for having less though, because there’s so much in the other direction. 💚

I see it's already been said many times but Ryan's haircut looks great, even more handsome than before. After listening to the social media episode I may take a break for a few weeks and see how it goes from there. I find it's creating a lot of mental clutter.
