Thinking about buying Graffiti Alphabets? This video is giving my take and review of the book, as well as a sneak peak in the content and how the book is made: www.amazon.com/Graffiti-Alphabets-Street-Fonts-Around/dp/0500294291
This was a terrible video. It wasn't a review because we never saw the contents of the book. Then to add insult to injury, you asked us to name our favorites. How can we do that when you didn't show the content of the book? After 15 minutes we still don't know whether we should buy this book.
@@sentry8992 bro, if you’re going to slam the video, at least watch it. I showed the whole table of contents. You can pause the video. And talked about the book structure. I also then showed my top ten artists in the book. If you don’t know how the book is put together after that, then I can’t help you man. You’re right about the favorite artist from the book comment. I should have said what artist did you want to see more of. I wanted to have follow up videos or shorts sharing that page in the book.
@@codefiveart Watch Parka Blogs youtube channel to understand how to properly show the content of a book. He does so properly, and in a fraction of the time you took, and never says a word. You should edit this video and show the content in the style of Parka Blogs. Have a great day.
Thank you for asking that question and getting an answer from the dude who made this video. I decideding which book I should get on Amazon but they're both the same book😂.
Why the music? It’s distracting for those of us “on the spectrum”. It’s called “Fonts” in Britain because it’s the correct word, alphabets and fonts are entirely different things. Interesting review though thanks very much.
No worries! Yeah I understand why the different titles. I really don’t know what is best with music or silence and talking. I really appreciate the feedback.
Its actually correct because the book is about a to z in graffiti style form. Cant called it fonts because there is no bold, italic nor fixed number of size in graffiti.
Probably because they don’t want graffiti to be seen as a legitimate art style, England changed the title of the book from -art- to “fonts” to put the kibosh on anyone attempting to use the literature of the day against the status quo (aka da gubmint) in other words they don’t want any hoity-toity kid saying “hey I got this art book from the library, so that’s why I wrote all over my desk and the bathroom walls” *that’s my working hypothesis for the title change in England* #Gr8Vidya ☮️
@@MrSevenEleven from the videos narrator I was simply posing a logical reason for this to be the case. If it’s not true, talk to the guy who made the video. #HaveAGreatDay ☮️
