I wish people in my neighbourhood didn’t just graffiti by writing “Fuck” on schools, with no actual art. Graffiti can be beautiful, if done with effort. Also nice piece!
I love graffiti as much as it is illegal I love how my street looks now, there are beautiful images of radios messages to inspire you, I’m always admiring it and I love the talent that can follow.
You can get a job for spray painting .It's also doesn't get you arrested. Some people don't want that on their building! That's why it's not legal. It's like painting someone else's house when they don't want you to.
@@pocxi46 technically its not anyones building anymore, and if the building does belong to someone, clearly they dont care about whether or not theres art of their walls.
Though I feel kind of bad for people that have stuff like shops and they get graffiti on their walls that’s vandalism but if there is a message it is kind of good and bad at the same time. Still only do graffiti if you get permission or if your doing it on your property otherwise it’s vandalism and you get arrested
Before you go and hate on him for ‘ Vandalism ‘ think about this 1. It’s abandon and no body is going to be seeing this (also it is not in any way shape or form vulgar/racist/inappropriate .) 2. He is very ,very talented and I don’t know about anyone else but I could never use spray paint so well! So to this dude , keep it up ! I love your work and feel very inspired !
actually i would see that. i see so much beauty in abandoned buildings and i hate seeing graffiti on the walls. it totally loses the point of urban exportation - trying to see some beautiful places with a long and interesting story behind them and only finding spray paint on the walls, especially if it’s just some swear words painted by some kid just trying to impress their friends. yes, the art is good and i appreciate the effort, but it totally loses the magic when you see this painted on something you love so much. therefore, maybe just stick to spray painting on paper and not ruin the fun for somebody else.
Tell me the truth about Northern Downpour, this is an abandoned office no one would be interested in just the pieces of paper yes it ruins the point of urban but it isn’t totally ruining it I’m sure just one amazing piece of work wont ruin the whole (boring) office place. Anyways it’s an improvement lol 😝
Is it me or is something just oddly soothing about graffiti cans and that noise they make every time you spray them? No? Just me? Thought so... Edit: :0 85 likes >:D Edit 2: 157... How ;-; Edit 3: 165... me: hHhHhHHHhHhhhhhh
sometimes, when you are painting trains everything feels tense, but that spray sound is the only thing that keeps us from stressing too much...that and security running at you of course
Valparaiso de Chile had a project that invited grafitti artists to put their art in the streets. The city became more beautiful after that, several of the works being great pieces of work. Graffiti is great as long as it it legal and it doesn't damage a person's property.
your mind is in the right place, it doesn't need to be changed. plus graff is the only art form i can do fairly well so this helps my little to none confidence level lol
outside the realm of logic and law i always liked seeing how its made and theres something soo satisfying about seeing blocks of colour thrown up with the chill music
So many people think this is not art and don't appreciate the hard work and effort that was put into this and I think this is art and a lovely piece of art good job!
Comments 10% "wow your an amazing artist" ---------------------- 0.01% "this is vandalism!!" ---------------------- 89.99%"Omg literally everyone is saying this is vandalism! It's not!!"
I hate how art can be a splash of paint but this actual art and something people put time into to make this world a little more colourful can be illegal. Absolutely gorgeous though! Love the art
Probably people who don't like graffiti and the illegality of it. Personally I'm on the fence about it. He (or she?) seems to only do it in "abandoned" areas that'll have to be refurbished or torn down anyway, but I'm not gonna take the words of this random graffiti artist on the internet as gospel. Also, and this is just personal opinion, he only does pieces that involve his username, Rake34. It seems a bit egotistical, but maybe I'm just missing something, maybe that's just a part of graffiti/tagging culture and I don't get it. I just feel he could broaden his horizons by doing more than just his username.
Tressym dude imagine if all of the grafiti dudes were actual artists, and if they drew actually nice things, and didnt credit themselves, they would make abandoned places look awesome... I mean sure this text looks “kinda” cool, but its really just their names in kinda the same style all over again, this is why I dont like it that much, Im sure there are actual graffiti artists who do awesome art too, in awesome places, but where I live most I see is just some scribbled names, which ruin the scenary.
My first thought: isn't this illegal? My second thought: I can't read this at all... My third thought: soooo satisfying how he outlines it and colors it in🤤 My fourth thought: ................:/ I feel so satisfied (T~T) EDIT: omg thanks so much for the likes I never knew I could ever get 4 likes!..............(T-T)
Good shit as always :) Is there any chance you can do a video with street tagging and throw ups? Would really like to see that..give this thumbs up if u want Rake do street actions :)
My big brother taught me graffiti when I was younger, I do it now (on paper) when I miss him, cause it makes me think of the good times. He's far away and I miss him a lot.
Even though this is illegal, it's still pretty dope. Not a doubt in my mind. People always think that graffiti artists are these delinquents who can't do anything that's not illegal. But, in reality, this shit takes talent. I'm glad that you record your creative process. Keep up the amazing work, man!
Paint Drop I know your a supporter of this RU-vidr, But some abandoned places people don’t want other people going to. Which that is: trespassing. And even the police get involved, and it’s not good to do graffiti. You could go to jail for that. And understand, not all graffiti is... good cause people use it for hatred, and other bad things related to that. And plus, there’s a country club that I live by across the street, and someone did graffiti. And he got arrested for it. And yeah. Just understand, that not all people show off their art for graffiti. I’m glad it’s illegal cause people don’t have the right to do it on other people’s property. They could do it at home, or for a art business, Because that’s ok do do. Even it’s abandoned. Some people still have that property but not all. Don’t hate on me cause I didn’t do anything wrong so don’t cuss me out or anything like people on RU-vid always do. I just had to say something, And you guys don’t have control over what I say, Only you do, so before you reply, Think, and take a moment to comment something that won’t offend anyone. Some people on RU-vid don’t think, and they just spit and comment something out. So yeah. Like they spit out words in the comment section. And a lot of people fight on RU-vid.
Red Teeco Gaming I understand what you’re trying to say and I respect your opinion, but I was referring to this type of graffiti, sorry for not making it seem clear.
whef _ …But… why do you have to say that… if it’s obviously not edited wouldn’t have been funny if you said “I swear this comment is edited” cuz u know it wouldn’t be edited cuz it’s not or you could’ve edited it that would’ve been funny too
