This can be a horror movie real fast if decided

She likes what she is seeing. The man is wasted (but at least he does not drive). She offers him a glass of water, tea ... maybe wine. He spots the brandy. The opening to a stranger would be O.K. - what are the odds, but it could have been the crazy ex boyfriend. But that sounds like an alcoholic.

Nancy Meyers wrote this wonderful film, and i have enjoyed very much most of her other films such as The Parent Trap, What Women Want, Something's Gotta Give, The Holiday, It's Complicated, and The Intern. One of the best screenwriters alive. Really knows how to make a movie about relationships. The cast in this film was fantastic. Jude Law has never been more congenial.

I don’t drink so I might be wrong about this. Graham is drunk, right? Why is he getting more drunk? Cause that is what brandy will do. I love this scene but the logic is lost on me.

One of my favorite movies

The ONLY thing wrong with this movie is the title ... It’s a wonderfully woven story about two very different women . . . but the title should say something more descriptive ... like “HOLIDAY EXCHANGE” ... We can all relate to Christmas presents you have to exchange. Even ... “CHRISTMAS EXCHANGE” would be more accurate for this romantic comedy that just happens to be set at Christmas. It should be right up there with “LOVE ACTUALLY” as a must see holiday movie. All of the characters are lovable ( except one ) ... It works on a small screen too. I’d say I’m a pretty good critic . . . I have almost 50 years of experience in watching all genres of films. I’m not counting my ✨Disney years✨! I don’t think each and every movie is supposed to explain the meaning of life ... although you can learn some from this. I do appreciate the writer’s not insulting my intelligence and creating well-rounded characters that move subtly within the romantic comedy with humor ... It also doesn’t hurt to have some eye candy with your popcorn🍿😋. “Amanda” calls him... “Insanely good-looking🤪 ... and I have to agree. It’s never boring and it has a lot of♥️ That’s why I said it’s almost equal to “Love Actually” and I don’t know anyone who dislikes that film. So I’m giving it ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️’s . . . It isn’t for children or those that have a rigid morality mindset. My grandmother would have loved it💕 Smile ...
