I am a biological woman. I am not against transgender persons, if they are not happy in their own body, that is their business. BUT, I am not going to lose my identity to suit them or anyone.
I started paying attention to gender ideology theory when I read jk's essay, how it will affect laws and policies and the impact on women. Its terrible that women's concerns are dismissed as transphobic. Graham is a real trouper, thanks for all you do

@@kevingrant7098 Andrew Doyle especially has often covered many of the stories that show how inherently homophobic trans rights activism is. Shaming gay or lesbian people for having a "genital preference" for example.
Whaaaat?! I left Twitter years ago when the perma-offended first started rearing their heads. I never realised Graham Linehan had been put on the Regressive Wokes' offenders' register - my comedy hero and all-round sound and intelligent guy. I would also recommend Count Arthur Strong. It starts slow but it has some genuinely wonderful moments and the humour is tempered with some lovely tender moments.
Men like Graham are an absolute godsend around this subject. Trans women are not women and trans men are not men. I can't understand why they can't just accept the truth and biological fact.
No room ! Globally women do, they MUST boycott all female events that have trans entrants. I don't think clothing and sports sponsors would like to infinitely clothes trans, instead if the beautiful FEMALE shape.
I really hope those in the creative industries (such as Graham Linehan) that have been "cancelled" are able to form their own alternative artistic movement. They've a bloody sight more talent between them than that which remains in the "mainstream".

My 5th Twitter post on my 10yr old account was hashtag ''Biology Though'', a few days later i noticed my account was & still is suspended, no reason given, no contact at all, 4 months on & i can't even deactivate my own account. thankfully i'm not a public figure, so i just smile at the sinister desperation of it all. Deletes cache and cookies then makes another account.

I've been a hairstylist for 25 years, I'm a female, and I've had many trans customers over the years, trans-women who wanted make-up & hair advice; trans men getting straight-razor shaves for the first time, all that. We've always connected, laughed a lot, shared our stories, .had fun..became friends,, accepted each other & our life choices without judgement EVER occurring to us. Never ONCE did we have angry, bitter, shaming confrontations with one another. I try to be gracious & offer the best customer service I can; I don't give a hoot how you identify, I want you to leave my shop looking & feeingl great about yourself. All this changed withiin the last 5 years with my trans clientele,, particularly transwomen. Now, I'm met with suspucion & questioned about techniques, things I said as a "cis" woman that made them feel "uncomfortable" or "unsafe",, like if I mention my son or just talk hair & I'm stunned, I don't know what they're talking about....am I being insensitive? What did I say??!! NO..THEY changed, not all, of course, but most, have become angry, resentful, like they're waiting for me to "slip up" & utter something offensive, and believe me, I do, all the time..and the accusations of "trans-phobic" come spewing forth. These clients KNOW ME; my intentions, my respect & fondness for them, they trusted me for years with their hair; their ups & downs, we're tight, I thought!! I KNOW them & I would never, ever hurt them, on purpose, so wth is going on??!! Well, I learned a LOT recently, tuning into podcasts, reading, etc. Ya know, I wised up. I have a beautifully crafted sign in my shop entrance now. It reads: My Dear Patrons: WELCOME!! We're delighted & grateful to serve you at HAPPY HAIR. (I include a list of services & prices). Please try to be respectful & considerate of each other. EVERY ONE of us deserves to to be treated with dignity, to have fun, & leave relaxed & gorgeous. If I hear any of you pulling any political, religious, race or gender- related bullshit, yes, even those of you who think you're never wrong, I will personally toss you out on your rear end.. Graham used twitter a lot, he participated in cancel culture himself against small time comedians. Funny seeing him whining like a baby when it happens to him.
A word of advice - if you want to convince a 'progressive' person that all of this stuff is nonsense, don't use words like 'cancelled' or 'woke' or similar buzz words when making your case. The use of these words will create contempt for your argument and a disinclination to persuasion.
Cis and trans are taken from science. Instead of transvestite, the word trans has been appropriated, and in science a trans bond signifies a carbon bond that our body's enzymes cannot recognize and use. Cis is the electronic conformation that all our enzymes accept as cofactors for biological reactions. So you could argue that trans are cis too. all our biology is the same, the same as all other animals
Rubbish, sorry. Cis refers to two chemical sub-groups being on the same side of a double bond(which cannot rotate) in a molecule. Trans would be the same two sub-groups on opposite sides of the molecule which would confer very different chemical properties. Not remotely applicable to sex in mammals which is binary and unchangeable.

Our body enzymes do not respond to trans formations, they are not recognized by their shape. For fats, a trans-fat is unable to be metabolized and is treated by our body as excess saturated fat, stored. the chemical bonds are not sub-groups luvvy
Even if what you believe is helping women, this obsession and harm it does your relationships and career, it’s mot worth it. We have one life, you don’t want to waste it on a computer, fighting invisible people online and getting nowhere.
