Just a note to the folks arguing over Theron's accent... alternately crediting it to Australia or the states... She was born in Johannesburg, S. Africa. That is the origin of any accent you think you hear. She later gained U.S. Citizenship.
actually she wss born and raised in Benoni Boksburg East rand and grew up Afrikaans, so English was her second lauguage which is why she was able to "acquire" a Californian accent because she didnt have an English one standing in her way...

This is from eleven years ago (it's Sept. 24, 2023), but I get the impression that Jon Hamm and Charlize Theron don't realize who Steve Coogan is. I mean, I'm an American, but I've seen his show a time or two and he's hilarious.

Charlize is actually not interested in Jon Hamm AT ALL. She's an actress. She's just joking around for (our) entertainment. Just because a drop dead gorgeous woman, like Charlize, has conversations with people (which may involve laughing), does not mean she is interested in the person she is talking to, and vice versa.
