I can appreciate your sharing different companies that we can purchase from. You have great opportunities on your platform and have worked hard to be an influencer. I am happy with Azure and their prices -we are on a tight budget. 😊
Nothing wrong with Azure! And honestly there are SO MANY farmers and grain distributors to buy from I don't think I could ever cover them all lol I hope that everyone is able to get good, REAL whole grains from a good source no matter who that source is! :-)
Thanks for the referral to 4 Generations, I would have never found them otherwise. I drove over to the town to pick up my bulk order last week. Wonderful folks, Sarah is amazing at what she does. Very knowledgeable in farming and the wheat they grow. I picked up the Butler's Gold. Everyone that has tried the new wheat is amazed at the smoothness and flavor. Makes a great pizza crust and just a wonderful bread. Granddaughter loves the waffle's made with it too. Thanks again for all the hard work you do. 😄
I just placed my order from them for 1 bucket of each, red and white. I’m so excited! This is my first order of grains! Just got my mill this past weekend and I’m excited to be feeding my family God’s bread. Thank you so much for sharing their information. They are a little pricey but that’s ok because they are definitely cheaper than pleasant hill grain and about the same as local places near me. I like their practices from what they share and I want to help support that. I’m debating on trying azure for the soft white wheat. Kinda nervous because of some of the bad reviews plus I’m new so I don’t want any issues to come up and make things even more difficult. But I also can’t pay a premium for everything all the time. Money only goes so far in this economy 😂. Anyways God bless you and thank you again! Please keep the videos coming! I’ve been binge watching and exciting to try pancakes and waffles soon and eventually try the burger buns. I never thought I’d be baking bread and yet God told me to bake the bread and here I am 😂
Oh good, I'm so excited for you. Yes, affordability is so important, and I'm glad 4 Gen is able to keep costs down to be one of the lowest priced options for organic wheat out there. Enjoy!
I don't know where you live, but their website does say they offer a discount if you pickup there. I live 5-6 hours away, but I figure if I get enough, I'll more than pay for the gas to get there and back, and still save $$
@@elenamarie25 thanks but I’m several states away so it wouldn’t be very cost effective for me 😂 I’m happy for those who are close enough to save the time from shipping to get it sooner. Sometimes that’s worth it
Thank you for all of the information you put into your videos. I’m just getting started on this journey. By chance do you have a Bread Becker grain review & comparison with these other companies for those of us who are new to grains?
I would say they are middle of the road. Not as cheap as some, but not as expensive either. Especially when you consider it's free shipping on all U.S. orders!
In Michigan, winter wheat is harvested in July. So I approached a local farmer and asked to buy some grain. He gladly gave it to me. I brought it home and stored it in buckets with lids like everyone says to do. Three weeks later I took it to some friends that had a sifter. All the grain had a green tinge. It was mold. It could be planted but not eaten. So I approached another farmer. He too gladly gave me grain. I put it in sacks and buckets without lids. After killing a few moths, I took it to my friends and they helped me sifted it with their old fashion sifter. Lots of grubs were sifted out as well as chaff. I keep it in back bedroom in buckets without lids. Lessons learned. PS it makes good free bread.
Appreciate the content (and you) 100%! But may I add that your audio is scratchy. I wonder if there’s another way you could record to minimize the static hits? I don’t remember hearing that on earlier videos. Thanks again for all you do!
Thanks for sharing!! How much is shipping for those 5 gal buckets? ugh UPS prices are so expensive. I wonder if they have a coop. Azure saves us around here in Arkansas with that hard hit to the wallet😮.
What is the difference between the Reds? I am slowly getting my family adapted to home milled flour which isn't an easy task. So far it's been the hard white (sometimes soft white) variety that they prefer.
Actually, I can. I was using them before they became a sponsor. It's BECAUSE I use them that I was even open to them becoming a sponsor to begin with. I would never work with a company I did not back myself. 4 Generations Organic Farms also didn't request to see this video in advance to make any changes nor did they say what could or couldn't be said in this video. They see it when my entire audience sees it :-) But I understand your skepticism in this day and age.
