Go to Nepal jhapa dist. When I went to Nepal to visit once I have seen a bodo gal right on mechi river bridge. Bodos of Nepal live with other kirat like dhimal, Koch, Limboo, Rai n some indo Aryan Nepali ( like me 😊, though I m from Assam ) migrated from west also live in the area. Their closest tribe in Nepal r dhimal kachari ( plain limboo), followed by kirati Limboo, Rai
All the north east native indigenous peoples of Indian subcontinent should be 100% welcomed in Nepal and should be safe harbour for their population to grow.

@@saranrai4921 BODO MECHE tribes have been living in Morong, Jhapa district of Nepal since the History unreached age, BODO MECHE tribes are oldest tribe of Nepal like Dhimal Kambu, Tamang, LIMBU, RSI, Mongor etc., If you don't know real History then ask and learn to know from old aged men, There in History BODO Meche were known as MLLECH, KIRATES,. ASUR- DANOV etc., Our forefathers were in Morong district , then they began to migrant in BENGAL ( 300 years before) , BODO MECHE KOCHARI are same language, ( bwrdwn western and sanjari eastern)
Learning to speak bodo is the duty as well as responsibility of the youngsters of meche tribe of nepal. If they won't then the day isn't far when they will lost their culture and language completely or they might extinct totally. Personalities with only title and tribe name without language becomes like a street dog. As i can see many tribe here in both lower and upper assam I won't take name of them as i believe our brothers have got my words what i actually mean.
I know what you mean but funny thing is me belonging to such community I love both languages. Our original tribal language plus hybrid language evolved during our king's rule :)
Meche tribe of Nepal witnesses that Boro Kochary kingdom in ancient times was very vast which extended from Bhutan and the Arunachal in the north to Bangladesh in the south and from Nagaland in the east to Nepal in the west. Please keep up our language, culture and traditions

Everything is ok with this documentary. What is disheartening to see our own brothers in Jhapa, Bhadrapur of area of Nepal and Pani tanki area of West Bengal is they are on the verge of extinction due to lack of education and excessive use of Rakshi(Jumai) among the Meche community as it has witnessed in many areas of Guwahati and Assam. Due to lack of education and simple straight mind they have been time and again discriminated & exploited by the upper Caste for centuries. Therefore, my humble request to the Nepal Govt. is that, some policy should be made to protect this discriminated and marginalized indigenous Community of Nepal. Their language and culture should be safe guarded, then only think of civilized society of Nepal.
