I've seen the Billie's Bounce audition joke a thousands times, I've seen balto overdone, but man... Playing Giant Steps in a smooth jazz style is a stroke of genius. You made me cry.

You're doing something wrong with the first two songs, you're not doing turns, glissandos, or using only the Kenny G scale, the last song was perfect though

The fact that you are a SERIOUS musician and cracking musical playing jokes just makes you one of my favorite people on this planet! I hope more people share your same sense of humor! I feel that Jazz Musicians take themselves WAY to seriously! I absolutely love Jazz and "attempt" to play it but never had the formal training so I fail in many aspects of attempting it. I am more of a Soul/R&B/Pop player that tries to play jazz if asked. With that said, I absolutely appreciate a well adverse player such as yourself that can cut up the usual stereotypes. Love your vids!

Thank you so much! I wish more people took themselves a little less seriously as well, but I'm trying. Don't worry about failing playing a certain music- do what you can, and work on what you think you want/need to work on! It'd be no fun to already know everything- part of it is the learning process so enjoy it!

Case in point that I was just reminded of. So a friend (or who I thought was a friend to where I thought we knew each other well enough) posted a video about Michael Brecker. It's a given that he is just a freak of nature and pretty much EVERY musician knows who he is. So I commented on the post...Michael Brecker who? This guy looks like a grocery store manager. Brotha was too serious and unfriended me and didn't respond to any of my attempts of reason. Oh well. :/

This inspired me to convert my late father's backup Selmer Modele 28 to a Balto...I was restoring it to playable condition but this will obviously improve it 110% I'm sure his father who once played it would definitely approve!!!

LOL You're killing me, that escalated quickly....My coffee almost flew out my nose, I don't think I'll ever hear Giant Steps the same way again...I actually had to throw the album on to cleanse that one out of my system LOL (I was gonna put the CD on, but forgot I had taken a palm sander to it to smooth it out....)

adrian love there’s cork there! The bari mouthpiece is too big for it, so you need to wrap somwthing around it to get a snug fit
