There’s hardly anything more beautiful to me than seeing wonderful humans doing what they love. Look at the way Riannon’s face lights up when she talks about her art! Vote blue. 🥰✌️💙
As a south Mississippi born musician raised in bluegrass gospel, country, and blues -- Rhiannon and her music hits all the soft spots in my psyche, and it's a beautiful experience! THANK YOU Rhiannon for your amazing work, art, and for your creative Self!
I've never seen /heard an ARTISTE like Rhiannon Giddens BURN the banjo . Her music is SO unforgettable. I remembered her name when i watched her give a soul-filled performance i think on SNL. I saw a woman at ONE with her instrument and those longer slender fingers dance all OVER that banjo and literally make LOVE to that instrument. I know that feeling of making love to my guitar, my lover. Strings are special and hard to manipulate, yet ever SO flexible and maliable to the human touch. However, Giddens is a master. THIS GIRL CAN GET DOWN! 💖🎶🌹
I just had to take a minute to say how beautifully expressive I found your words about Rhiannon. She's a stunning woman, so filled with talent and so authentically herself. I only recently discovered her and am awed and amazed by her music and her life. Thanks for sharing your thoughts. Your comment made me smile from beginning to end!
@@cherylalt101 Considering the world we're presently passing through, thank you for allowing me into your world, and letting my words make you smile. As a singer-songwriter myself, words are music and vice versa. I saw Giddens on SNL when she was perhaps 19yrs. There she was dancing barefoot in a whirlwind with that banjo. What an awesome musical experience she is!
I LOVE Rihanna - so happy for her😊❤. Haven't seen her live, but it's on my bucket list. ALSO, listening now to "You're the One"! Her historical references, musicality & originality are exceptional.🎉
I could listen to Rhiannon for days. She has so much passion for what she does. This is, by far, one of the best interviews I've seen with Ms. Giddens.
She's the one!! What a magnificent woman. I loved Omar, Rhiannon's work with Silk Road ensemble and the Railroad Project, and her singing Paul Siimon's revised wording of his American Tune at Newport Folk Festival 2022. (It's on youtube)
