Went in Wigwam’s in May after you both were in last time. Great bar, I had the 12% Kasteel beer 🤪. The barman remembered you. Great video, looking forward to the next one.
Could you answer me a question about drones in Spain? I have a Mavic air 2 but obviously to much trouble to take abroad. If I bought a Mavic mini 3 what would I have to do to fly in Gran Canaria and would you need insurance. Thanks.
Great video and very well presented and put together. The music in the background was also great and overall the sound quality seems to be better than previous.The stereo seems to be enhanced or much clearer not that it was bad before. Fantastic work you guys are doing and makes our holiday choices much better. Also impressed with the amount of content per video its just great so keep it up 👍

We have stayed in Puerto Rico twice, once nearer the bottom and once nearer the top! Europa was a great place for evening entertainment, Barbacoa was really good for all food and evening entertainment 🎉 The Irish Bar opposite Barbacoa has an amazing resident band….we went there a lot at the end of the night 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽We only found the other side of bars on our 2nd trip and we ended up in Dirty Nellies too …….went to the steak place…..SUPERB ❤❤🎉🎉❤❤
`Wat fijn om jullie weer te zien. het was een super film met goede kwaliteit geluid. wat een klim was dat over de trappen. wij zaten jaren in Riosol dus weten was het is. nu blijven we beneden, en net als jullie gaan we in 2025 naar EO Cedral. En nemen we een de Bus naar Barbacoa. Het ontbijt zag er goed uit, je kan altijd aan Jacqui haar gezicht zien of het lekker is. we kijken uit naar de volgende filmpjes. dikke knuffel van ons💋
Ah thank you. Really pleased you enjoyed the video. Yes it is quite steep to the top of Europa but at least the scenery is very nice. Breakfast was excellent in Barbacoa and well worth the walk up for that.
Hi,nice video,lve only been to the Europa centre twice,l prefer the other one lower down,great selection of beers in Wigwam,just back from Belgium where theres every type of beer,the coconut beer is so easy to drink,well done.
Thank you Sharon, yeah we love Wigwam Bar, great selection of beers there, a change from the normal jn every other bar. Yeah have to say we prefer the centre down the bottom too.
Love WigWam always make sure I have few in there whenever I’m in PR stayed in Marisol suites across the road last year. Love port area. Love your vlogs.
Oh and Europa is a dump now used to be lovely years ago full of dealers and scumbags now although Eden apartments across the road is wonderful accommodation
It does look run down. We can't really compare as this was our first visit there. Some people still seem to love it though but there does seem to a bad element entering now. Must admit, we saw some dealers in the main commercial centre during this visit and even saw a few deals taking place with tourists from afar. Not good if there's families about.
@colinmacdonald8995 thanks Colin. Favourite island, probably going to have to be one of the Greek islands. We have a lot of history with Zante, got married there and rescued a dog from there so probably there. Favourite place on the island, would have to be up in the mountains, amazing scenery and really quiet away from all the tourists. Stunning up there.
Was there in October but going back 2 weeks today, gonna try the Europa center at night and see what its like guys, and the wigwam bar looks good great video
Hey guys, we’re here now and we are staying at the hotel at the top of the steps with the spar shop next door which you captured in the video. I’ve been to the europa both day and night and I won’t be going again, you can tell it was probably the place to be back in the day but it’s looking tired these days, borderline tacky. I’ve been doing those 700+ steps every morning down to the beach and back up before the wife and kids wake up, it certainly blows the cobwebs off from the night before!
Yeah we thought it looked a bit tired and run down. Be interesting for us to see what it's like at night. A few people have said things about it following our video here.
I do not miss those steps up to Europa Centre. We will be avoiding it this year as so many people saying about a bad element about. Poor Kevin. The commercial centre and Olas centre are our focus this year.
@fidelmakearney6015 yeah they're tough, especially when it's hot. Some people do prefer the Europa bit we can't judge it for nightlife as we always tend to stick down the bottom end.
You’re visiting all the places we went to last year and are going to next week 😂. We’re staying at Morosol Suites this year having stayed next door at Marina Suites 10 years ago so will be in Durty Nelly’s and WigWam a lot as right on the doorstep.
@davepage1151 we never get to spend enough time in there when we've been. If we ever get back we'll make a point of spending more time there as we love it
@@lynnrich5943heard nothing but good things about Morasol Suites which is why we’re staying there this year. Next door at Marina Suites was great too when we stayed there on our first trip to GC, but it was hard to get a lounger by the pool which doesn’t seem to be an issue at Morasol. Really hoping WigWam is back open next week as was looking forward to popping there for interesting beers.
Hope both enjoying. There are more than a couple of bars in europa. Some are tucked away. It's smaller as you say, but it's sometimes a change from the CC. Some good restaurants up there too. There are dealers in both centers, but for some reason, the EC gets a worse rep for it.
@sicdoctor thank you, we are back home and these were filmed much earlier in the year. Only put them out now mainly due to personal reasons. If we ever get back there we may have a look and see what it's like at night. Yeah, we saw dealers at the main CC during our time there too, not good.
@@continentalcoxons it is quieter, and that's because it's smaller I guess. Sometimes if you want a bit of mellow and a more chilled one, then this definitely suits that. It's the east africans pushing out the gear, mainly on those steps leading to where you had a fry. You can get them anywhere you go away, or even back in your local towns. Good luck.
@sicdoctor thank you. The ones we saw at main CC looked like Spaniards. Saw a few tourists buying gear off them as well. Hate seeing stuff like that when theres families on holiday.
@@continentalcoxonscould've been moroccans. I honestly think it's inevitable. It's worth just looking past it. They'll always be people buying. On a whole it's a great place with plenty enough to do, and the weather is always on your side!
We love Gran Canaria but weirdly never stayed in Puerto Rico. We normally stay in Maspalomas Next time your over you should try “tipsy hammock “ in playa del ingles One of the reasons we go back to GC We weren’t keen on Mogan
@SarahDon-do2rk we quite liked Mogan, not so much on a Market day though, too much hustle and bustle. We did pop round to Maspalomas on our last GC visit in 2022. Never ventured into Ingles though, never got time.
@@continentalcoxons No problem. There was talk of buses running up to the 'top centre' again - but apparently the taxi drivers were up in arms about it. It probably loses a lot of trade for the Europa Centre though - we usually stay at the Casablanca so are nearer to the 'bottom centre' - taxis are not expensive - but getting one back later at night can sometimes be a problem - so we don't bother.
Just watched both your Puerto rico series vlogs you seem to like a holiday on a budget we do too can i ask how many euros you spend a day in puerto rico? We arrive in a few weeks and have no idea how much to take
It all depends really. I would say eating out isn't the cheapest but some.if the bars are very reasonable priced in the big commercial centre. Can get a beer for less than €2 Again, how much you sepnd per day depends on what kind of things you want to do. We have some expensive days and some where we don't spend too much. You could probably be OK on about €100 a day if you are eating out a twice and have a few drinks.
Coming over puerto rico in a few weeks realy enjoying you videos my question is how do you go about flying your drone i want to take min but it seam like a bit of a mine field any info would be greatful
I've never had any issues before. Just be mindful about not flying anywhere near airports or over large crowds really. Make sure you have your CAA licence and display your registration number on your actual drone.
@richybarnes7975 I have done yeah. Heard something similar when we went to Vietnam but never applied for anything there. Might depend what type of drone you have too.
I had a lad follow me from the top of the steps towards the Colina Mar threatened me with a glass in his hand. Needless to say he ended he ended up on his arse and on conscious. Following night there was a lad trying to push drus on people at the top of the steps.
When I was there in July they were working on Frans and it should be open in September. Regarding what happened to the Scotsman in Tenerife that was horrible and I had a incident myself there but in the bottom shopping centre when the football was on . This guy thinks Spanish ask me what I was ..I said English and he gave me a little slap on my face. Shocking,the owner of the bar then chased him.Also last year my friends brother caught attacked there.Such a shame as I love Puerto Rico and I had such a good holiday apart from that one moron!
@sharenfreeman7773 wow, that's bonkers. Do you reckon it may have been one of these people protesting against tourists? Heard the odd story here and there. Doesn't matter either way, it's not acceptable in any shape or form. If some one did that to Jacqui I'd lamp the t**t. Sorry to hear about that. Yeah, someone mentioned in the live chat about Fran's, that's come as a huge relief to us.
@@continentalcoxons yeah my over half went nuts ..it happened when I went to the toilet ,he ran away after and the owner ran over and asked me what happened then he ran after him ,I didn't see what happened then.kind of glad my partner didn't catch him as probably be in a Spanish jail. I did feel when I was there this year .. tension where I didn't last year.end of the day their government has to sort out there housing situation (which I sympathise with) but unfair to take it out on innocent tourists who lets have it right pay good bloody money to be there. That being said most were very welcoming and I had lots of cuddles from people I met the year before.
