In episode 6 we head into the mountains of Gran Canaria.
Our first stop is Roque Nublo, stopping off on the way to take in some of the spectacular scenery along the way. After about an hour and a half we reach our first stop. We take the hike out to the natural monument of Roque Nublo.
After a quick snack, we take the treatorous drive through the mountainous hairpin roads as we head for the stunning Mirador de Balcon.
Then we drive back south and head to the traditional apaniah houses in Veneguera, a sleepy little village. We take a look through the old village and the old houses that used to make up Veneguera.
Our last stop at Playa de Veneguera, a nudist beach, which takes about 45 minutes from Veneguera village. The road is very rugged and made up of rocks and riverbeds.
We take a look at the beach, a naturists paradise, and we bump into a real life caveman who is kind enough to show us around his converted cave. A unique experience to finish off our day.
