Airport hasn't changed much at all really although I remember them doing some expansion work in the early 90s. I've been going to Gran Canaria for the best part of 20 years. Lived out there for a few months in 2003. Last went there in 2006. Maspalomas has changed a lot over the years. There was hardly anything there when I first started going.

You are joking surely? When I first went to Gran canaria in 1992 the check in area was so small that people were queuing outside onto the pavement for their flights! The check in area had dark wood panelling on the walls and a low ceiling. Now it's a huge light hall with a high ceiling!
