Carlota and the apartments next door to them are being refurbished at the moment, stayed in Cala D’or which is handy for the centre but if you have any mobility issues it’s a taxi up the road or two flights of steps to climb.
Don riva think its called now was Tamanaco, stayed at carlota ye thats closed at the moment decent hotel before anyway and stayed at cala dor that's a decent hotel too
I visited the Playa de In Ingles many moons ago! U had lots of English,Scots,Irish,Dutch and Germans..Plenty of cheap booze, food,Clubs & Sun of course!. .And I would imagine that's still the status Quo?.But these dayz i prefer a little less people ¬ so much noise!
Xtremes and Bar 69 did €1 pints until recently. Inflation has finally taken hold I guess. I was in Puerto Rico at the beginning of December. The Hideaway Bar in the Europa Centre sells pints of a local lager called Viva for a Euro. A few bars used to sell Tennents but apparently that has been withdrawn from the Canaries.
Ye 69 bar changed it over a year ago to 1.40 from 1 euro. This was since all the refurb was done. Cant grumble tho. Ye extreemez moved over from europa best thing they did really. Not much at the europa compared to puerto rico commercial centre. Inflation all over the world just life I suppose
Had a week in Tenerife before Christmas. I think that the bars doing local beers at €1.50 must be doing it as a loss leader. The outcome is a lot of intially confused tourists when faced with a more realistic price point come night time.
Where do they think we can get the extra 50cents from for them pints mr jock , they used to be €1 , 50% hike in prices is totally unacceptable , I will be passing my concerns onto my local MP .
Beers are definitely cheap, though bars have no choice but to sell at a near loss, making a few cents profit on the Euro. With a choice between paying €1 or €3 for a beer, nobody will go to the more expensive bar. Large pubs rely on a large turn around to get the profit; small places don’t last.
Beware of advertised LARGE BEERS Kevin. They are only 400 millilitres .No where near a pint. The Sunspot and Chill Out bars sell a full pint.2 euro in the former and 1.50.in the latter Two great pubs
Were thinking of gling here in june. Married couple late 30s. But im reading two complete different opinions. Some people say its a great spot for the craic with good music spots and cheap drink Then others say its a "dump" with loads of places closed. I know to each their own but which is it?? Is it a good spot for good nitelife and food and drink ?? Thats all we want! Thanks
Great video wee man so please please no tenerife in 2023 and that way you will know where you are 😄😄😄😄😄👍👍💯💯only joking it's probably your bread and butter .Anywhere you go Kevin we will watch so cheers 👍
