Me and the missus did a week in a villa with our mates and as there aren't loads of videos on here that have done a review of the bars, restaurants, cab ranks, pharmacies, cash points and beaches, we wanted to post up a film giving you a view of the entire area and what to expect when you're there, and how to get about.
If you fancy a week in the Canary Islands and want to find a traditional part of Gran Canaria, then Arguineguin is a great place with lots to offer. It is less of a tourist hotspot than the likes of Maspalomas and Playa Del Inglés, and it has a lot to offer, whether you want to relax on the beach, enjoy the nightlife, or both!
Arguineguin is in the general region of Mogan, just to the south of Puerto de Mogan.
Hopefully, this gives you a good list of things to do in Gran Canaria.

Hey, It's not over the top, but nowhere near as cheap as Lanzarote. The main tourist crowd are Norwegians, and they pay so much back home for alcohol that they can get away with charging more. Some of the more touristy places run a locals pricelist and a tourist pricelist, but if you search around, you can find cheaper places. For example, Anna's bar was €12 - €15 for a cocktail, Cloud 47 bar was €8 - €10, both pricey by Lanzarote standards. Expect to pay €15 - €25 per person for lunch and €25 - €40 per person for dinner. Hope that helps 👍

Hi Terry, you're better off staying very close to the seafront, there are plenty of drop kerbs, and the underpass under the main road has a long, shallow ramp as well as stairs. Plenty of supermarkets, bars and restaurants have step free access or accessible outdoor areas too. As soon as you get more than a couple of roads inland, the hills are quite steep and you'd have to travel much further to get around as many of the cut-throughs are step access only. Hope that helps 👍
