The information about the Resort in this video is presented by interviewing Hotel staff telling us all about the features of Grand Muthu Almirante Hotel For contacts: thesunseekertravel@gmail.com
Very informative video, thanks. It really helps to make the right decision about which hotel to choose. The hotel looks beautiful and clean and the people are nice.
Hi, I watched one of your videos about Playa Pesquero and I went there two weeks ago. I had a good time. Now after watching this presentation I am going to book my next vacation here. Keep doing your good job by letting the people know these amazing Cuban resorts.
I was there in April 2022 , it's a great resort with wonderful employees, the beach is amazing . I will return for sure next time 2 weeks . Thanks for the memories .
Thank you for showing us the video and we will be there in two month's and hopefully we will like the hotel and enjoy our trip 👌👍 See all the hotel workers very soon☀️☀️☀️🫶🏾🥰
Just booked this resort and found your video as I was trying to get a better sense of the amenities. Do you remember when and where exactly the Cuban day was? Cuban pork roast is AMAZING and I don't want to miss it :)
Thanks for the video. I may go there after my next trip this year to the Sanctuary. Now that the money is different, how much do they expect as an average tip in the dining room and at the a la carte restaurants. Thanks
Very informative but I have a question about medical treatment. How much they charged for the medical intervention in case something happens at the hotel ? I have heard stories about medical treatment in Cuba is really expensive for tourists! Insurance companies cover the expenses?
Thank you for watching and thank you for your question. We recommend that you make sure that you buy insurance to cover the expenses. Yes, insurance companies will cover if there is an incident or need of medical treatment.
Great video with detailed info, thanks very much ! We're considering going there soon, but I can't find any info as to how much the Elite/VIP section costs. Any ideas?
Thanks for watching our video and for your kind words. We are not sure how much is the price now but at that time it was about 40CAD per person per day.
hi, thanks for the informative video. would you recommend the Gran Mathu Almirante or the Grand Aston Cayo Paredon resort? I cant decide between the two! Thanks!
Very professional and informative video. The resort looks beautiful but very big. The problem with brand new resorts is they often run out of food and alcohol because they don't yet know how to budget. What camera did you use. Keep up the good work.
Thank you for your comments on the video! The hotel looks very big but actually is a very modest size and everything is close, which we liked the most! The beach, the restaurants and all amenities are very close and the guest do not need to take a ride. Just two minutes walk to everywhere 😄 We did not experience any difficulties with the food or the drinks. We all know that going to Cuba you need to keep in mind that the limited resources impact the hotel but you will be impressed how much these people did and how professional they are taking care of the guests and the hotel! Cleaning, well trained staff, good English etc. I was really impressed and thankful to their efforts to provide the best service! Highly recommend!
@@zachariahjeffers275 We loved the food and again keeping in mind that you are in Cuba just respectfully I would say we were happy with the variety. I also learned recently that the food options have improved since our last stay in November. There are a lot of options for people who are vegetarians. Lots of fish, potatoes, rice, plantains, vegetables, sea food, cheese, eggs, fruits. I am sure you would love it!
Hello there! Both resorts are good but Almirante has a better beach. We are sure you will like them both depending on what are you looking for. If you are a beach person the definitely Almirante!
wifi is free at the hotel. You need to ask for login and password at the reception. Speed is slow but it is ok. Good enough to check news and emails. I was able to get signal even at some parts of the beach.
I've been to Cuba more than 20 times and every hotel/resort had bad food. The only places where the food is good is at restaurants and private homes. How was the food here???? How much did you pay for the massage? Thanks
Thank you for watching our video! When you go to Cuba you need to have in mind that this country goes through a lot of obstacles. We loved everything about the hotel! Never stayed hungry, and loved everything they offer. The massage - it depends what package you chose so we can’t say exactly but you can always find out the prices beforehand. The hotel is very modern and beautiful! Gorgeous beach! The ocean is amazing and I would definitely recommend it! The reality is that every person is different and if you are beach-ocean lover, this is your place!
I understand you perfectly. …it is not the fault of the work staff, in most cases the responsibility lies with them…those who have the (“power”)…Honestly, the workers have almost no resources…or possibilities…just make an effort to provide the best service to you… within the possibilities… the private house “ is recommended, thank you 🙏🏻 good luck 🍀
I've also been to Cuba multiple times in different resorts in Varadero,Cayo Coco,Holguin and Havana and I have NEVER had problems with food. A whole variety of different dishes, deserts. I have eaten like a king.
I have also been to Cuba many times. It is the same like visiting any new country. You will not get the same food that you get at home. Cuba has been stiffled for decades because of the embargo. They cannot get imported foods and spices like everywhere else, but they do have reasonably priced resorts, lovely beaches with calm waters, and the most hospitable staff working for their resorts. I am yet to go to another Caribbean Island, Mexico, Panama, etc., where so much respect is shown to me. If you are only used to gourmet foods, Cuba is not the place for you. I did not find the variety of foods limited at the resorts, so I was able to get something descent to eat. I went to restaurants to eat, but they don't have to cook in bulk like the resorts, and the meals are what they would cook at home.
We booked for march break..just wanted to know about the bad reviews regarding the locals..is it really bad? Are there a lot of palapas on the beach? Is there a beach bar?
When I stayed at Playa Pesquero before the pandemic, the locals stayed away from us and stayed at the end of the beach. The locals who were guests used all the facilities. We have to remember, we are in their county.
We stayed in this hotel last year in April. Nice hotel, beautiful grounds ,but food was awful. Even though they have basic food selection they don’t know how to cook at all !!!Amazing beach…shearing with local people. ( very loud music and so much garbage) . Noticed that service get worse and food shortages past few years.
The manager dalia is fantastic. Too bad they don’t sell cigars at the CIGAR bar. And the night shows aren’t as good as they used to be in cuba. If you go anywhere outside the hotel you should go to NOCTURNO in holguin to see real Cuban talent. The night shows here are an embarrassment in comparison.
