Man I loaded up GT4 after beating GT2 recently and had to set it back down for a bit. It's undeniably amazing; GT mode is probably the best they ever made, graphics and basically everything were a huge step up from GT2, but it's just not as satisfying. GT2 was so freaking fun it's hard to pinpoint what gives it that feeling. You could blame nostalgia but I played the hell out of both games on release and was still practically a kid with GT4.
I love how most GT original tracks has a lot of elevation, and fun to race on. Imagine if Kazunori Yamauchi becoming the track designer instead of Hermann Tilke. I guarantee it'll producing a better racing.
Ahhh GT2. I always loved to have my buddy come over and play 2p. He’d pick a fast car and then I’d go to my garage and use one of my sleeper cars and pretend to be slow then on the last lap I’d mop the floor with him. 😂
This is the first time to watch this channel, but as I used to play GT2 every day, I can only say that the quality of this video is very high, not only the track vehicles are well matched and well-founded, but also the driving skills are excellent, although there are more extraordinary players, but Demonstration video driving skills are already great, anyone who has played GT2 will understand what I'm talking about
I can't believe GT2 was the game to introduce Laguna Seca (Now known as WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca), the real-life racecourse that became a regular in the series. Every game, even the Tourist Trophy spinoff, had that course in it.
the secret of great tourism is that if you press the button up, the car goes 2 km faster, and if you move the sports speed slider to the maximum in the transmission settings, the car goes even faster, few people know this)) this only works in part 2 of the game! in others just did not check
I think this is how a lot of us remember the game playing back then. But then you pop in a disc and are reminded just how pixelated and choppy it really is, especially on a modern TV
It does actually, as you can see in the video, the draw distante is drammaticaly improved from the normal game (still not Perfect but its more than nothing)
Grand Valley, Green forest, Grindelwald, Midfield, Red Rock Valley, Smokey Valley, Tahiti, Pikes Peak. I don't know what they wait to add this tracks on gt7. I'm sincerly tired to play the same 4 tracks.
I know these are upscaled graphics but damn. Polyphony didnt mess about in the 5th and 6th generation and really pushed those consoles for the hardware given
Ok but why is there three rally tracks with nearly identical layouts :/ Swiss Alps, Smokey Mountain South, and Green Forest Roadway. This has always been baffling to me and no one talks about it.
hi rowdy Even though I applied the settings you suggested, I cannot get the same image. Can you support me on this? The cheats are installed in the emulator, I choose the ones I want to use, but they are not activated.
toyota gt1 is one of the cars that i hope to see in legender car of gt7 Pescarolo lamans playstation car from gt4 in brand central as this 2004 the video on brand central did say cars from 2000 up to today
I did the autumn ring one time with the viper i forgot which race it was tho but like does it sound weird when i felt the viper was GIGANTIC for this track? To me it did specially where like all it did was spin out too but i did like manage to control it to a certain degree. Wasn't easy tho lol, i LOVE this game tho like if you say you like the R34 and the mark 4 supra from this game. You the real car guy not from fast and furious because gt2 showed you those cars first.
I should have a GT3 video soon, as for the progressive can patch, I have one for NTSC.
