I don’t even play GT, I don’t even have a a PlayStation. I just like when people do this type of thing & get to the point while explaining it. Good video 👍🏼
Im level 40 and the payout is still great for the effort put in. I made 12 million in 7 hours, i was NOT making the full 2 million a hour, however, the ease of this race more than made up for the price difference. I couldnt make the GTR reach 700 pp, (697.1) so the prize money was a little bit less. And i couldnt get my Jimmy (lol) as fast, averaging 1:03 laps - 11:30 total time. Definitely the best money guide for lower level players, GG Fossil
Fantastic video mate! I used to do the Abarth 500 vs Dodge Tomahawk custom race but this is far easier! And no I'm not lazy. I'm all grown up with little time to game so grinding isn't an option anymore. Especially when all i want is a McLaren F1 but will never amass 20 million yankee dollars or quid for you British fellows 😂❤
Just start and try to get gold with the weekly time trials. I only need 1 more Legend car now. I'm not grinding or farming. Just the weekly time trials and sometimes the daily marathon with the Tomahawk on Stage X. I drive with controller and motion steering.
Yooo, at first I was like, damn I wasting all of my money on a glitch that I've never heard about, but then I keep doing the steps, I just won the 400 k, glad this worked pal😃, txs
I do Tokyo with a Nissan Skyline R34 swapped with a specific tune, wall ride and Clean Race Bonus in 23 minutes, but this is a really annoying race. But this race that you are showing us gives me the same money/time ratio and it looks more fun !!! Thanks a lot, I subscribed ! 😊
This is great! By being a little more conservative with the boost I’ve been able to maintain essentially the same lap times (within 1-2s) and eek out 15 laps for 539,550 credits.
long time watcher first time poster. ive done all the settings youve done, but my gtr also had the stage 5 weight reduction, so my payout for the race is only ~150000 rather than the 260k youre getting.
Are you collector level 50, and have you got all gold at the circuit experience? At 05:03 there's a little checklist. If you haven't made sure you've ticked all of them, winnings will not be as high.
I've done it, and credits per hour are about the same. 2M/hr. Not to mention the Honda Beat is in the Used dealer, so not always available, plus you need an engine swap and a bigger initial spend to get it working.
@@fossilfueled27 But if you outlay a lot of credits for the Daytona method, you get back in no time. While you wait for the Honda Beat, buy the Honda S660 from the dealership and no need for an engine swap is the car to use. The Honda Beat is over 1 million credits in 30 minutes. That is 5 minutes and 50 seconds or under. If you want to do a snow race go right ahead, but you be missing out on some credit in the long run, just saying.
@@CharlieBravoHotelnah it’s like 395k for 11 minutes it’s not that serious 😭💀 you just want views my guy you sound like an ass In here doing all that talking. Learn to chill out. And be glad this game has plenty of good methods
Is it possible to do an AFK version of this similar to the Beat at Daytona? Or do all of the bumps make it impossible to keep it on track even with the car turning into the wall?
It's possible but the Beat works out faster for AFK methods. There's a kink on this track just after the start/finish line that pushes the car out to the middle of the track which can cause crashes.
I have done this method in AFK for the last few months. Make sure that your car has the auto reset after crash on. And the last two settings, forget what they are. The only issue is sometimes I get clean race bonus sometimes I don't. But I solely do it afk, car just rides against the wall the entire race.
I set the track for 60 minute race. I set my cars top speed to 50-60mph and trim the bots down to 45ish mph top speed. Set the controller up and walk away for an hour.
@@fpsjohnny3896regardless it’s like 395k every 11+ minutes that’s amazing I’ve been doing Tokyo like crazy since I started back playing. This feels sooo much more chill no stress 😭
AFK works great, you just need to use the rubber band on the trigger and gyro steering on the controller. If you shim the left side up about 1/4”, it’ll do the entire race without any crashes/resets. I’ve been using this method for about 4 months now consistently.
Money methods are fine, but PD is practically giving away 20 million credits this month maybe more with all of the time trials. Even if you can only get silver that will still likely be over 10 million for the month, and silver is very easy to get.
That's all very well, but not everyone can get gold or even silver in a reasonable amount of time. This is aimed at those who simply want a low-effort way to get some credits in.
It's easier and slightly more lucrative if you have Suzuki Escudos instead, since they stick the racing line a bit more predictably, but they're not available very often.
I've been running Sardegna for AGES it feels like. First in the Escudo, currently running the Jaguar XJR-9, as I am faster with it, and it doesn't need to pit as often. I may have to try this later!
You can try this video above which pays 395,700 credits for around 11 minutes, or you can try the Daytona method that pays 213,000 credits around 6 minutes. So for 2 races around 12 minutes for 426,000 credits.
Nice. I was starting to figure we were mathematically capped at just under 1.7 million per hour. I was using this method with the Honda beat at Daytona against nerfed tomahawks, until I realized I could get another 100 pp Gap using the s660. If I'm not mistaken that ended up right around 330,000 in about the same 10 minutes
@fossilfueled27 the s660 took a couple of minutes longer than the Beat, but did require continuous nitrous. If I'm not mistaken it would last 13 laps. 3 treacherous passings of the tomahawks. I'd love to see what you come up with. I'm no longer able to think that deep. Still kind of stoked that I ever had the idea to try it. Motorcycle engine, versus the fastest cars in the game
@@Shaneeee07 I'm going to fire up the PS5 here shortly. I'll have to check that was with a clean, 13 lap race, at collector level 50, all gold track experience.. that's not very hard daytona. I'm not mistaken I entered the race at under 200 PP. And you had to hold the nitrous down the entire time for top speed. I did 360 Mi worth this past Christmas day, just to get that damn ra272. Not long after that there was talk of polyphony getting rid of some PP glitches like this. Judging by what fossil fuel has done, apparently it's still possible
@@Shaneeee07 it still works. Pays 322,950 cr for 13 laps. I enter the race with 172.25 pp, start the race with 602.25 pp. I was kind of worried that the updates between then and now might have changed some stuff. I did notice some oddities. I had it saved as a night race, and now it was during the day. For some reason, my nitrous was totally inop. Didn't notice until about lap 4 or 5. It's mapped correctly, and showing on the HUD, but was working the turn signal during this race for some reason. Odd thing was, it used to require continuous nitrous or they would catch up. They weren't. It took the entirety of the second lap to get past the pack, and I didn't pass them a second time. It did however take 13 minutes, and I swear it took about 10 and a half to do it with working nitrous. Some things have changed slightly, but it still works. Without the nitrous, the CR per hour is under 1.5 mil cr/hr. I was closer to 1.6. Sardegna WTC800 is far more entertaining, and takes less tinkering
Thanks for this method! I've been playing around with this and is there any reason for not running the normal course (i.e not the reverse loop?) The payout is slightly higher and I can run the race in the same amount of time as the reverse so I don't see a downside. Also, if I use a Suzuki Escudo as my opponents I get a slightly greater payout still, even though its PP is 683.67 (snow tyres, fully customisable gearbox, nothing else). Tuning it into the 700's doesn't change the payout, which is weird. Anyway, total payout is 270,300 or 405,450 with the clean race bonus for 11 laps. Not a massive difference but every credit counts over the long run!
Great video! Just a question: do you use automatic or manual? I’m running auto but the gears don’t work very well, maybe i did something wrong with the settings
I’m not getting the clean race bonus even though I’m not hitting any of the other cars. Any tips? Additionally if you’re a bit more efficient with your nitrous you can get 20 laps comfortably.
The only reason you'd lose clean race bonus is if you contact other cars or go beyond track limits. I'm pretty sure you can't go beyond track limits at lake louise, though.
@@fossilfueled27hey! I’m trying this right now and I’ve adjusted the downforce and have all the parts (under level 50) but my max is 699.63 PP. Any tips?
@@Secretdynamichunters Try buying the Active LSD controller if you haven't already, I found that added another few points when I built a car without ultimate parts.
Hey man I’m doing everything like you do and in lap 3 I am in like 8th place and my laptimes are like 1:05/1:04 plus I don’t get the no incidents bonus and I don’t crash into the cars.
Are you level 50? Have you got gold on circuit experience? Is the jimny below 200PP when you set up the race? Is the Nissan above 700PP? Are you getting clean race bonus? Is the race set to laps and not a time limit? Is the opponent difficulty set to professional?
What Charlie said. The fastest snow car is the Suzuki Escudo, but it still only gets between 700-800PP, the same as the R35, so rewards for this method stay the same.
plz go slower when going through upgrades, even at .25 speed you are going 1.faster then i can click through the upgrades and 2. so fast sometimes you can even tell if you just viewed the upgrade or purchased it, mismatched on gtr upgrade and can’t find why, appreciate the guide nonetheless tho, just giving a suggestion for us viewers to be easier on ys
@@fossilfueled27found what it was, but it still turns an 11 minute video into a 20+ simply because i have to keep rewinding to copy your setup, which is the point of showing us. just an idea, like i said appreciate the video and the new money grind!!have a good one
@@Alex-ev3ge No worries. I was just trying to keep the runtime down. As someone who used to look up this sort of thing in GTA 5, I hated when people spent ages talking about unrelated stuff, padding out the video for nothing.
The first two are menu music from Gran Turismo 5, and the last one is the dealership music from Gran Turismo 3. I always like to use old menu music from past GT games.
Nearly every time I try to mimic someone's gear ratios, I will match the ratio but not the speed indicated (yes, I'm in km). I've verified all the parts are installed and options selected as in the video. Transmission settings are almost always off by a bit.
As a general rule, you have to adjust the top speed first, then go into the more fine settings and adjust each gear. If I'm trying to match someone else's settings, I generally just make sure the top speed of each gear matches, the exact ratio doesn't really matter.
If you want a really lazy way, you can earn 511,200 credits in just over 20 minutes while you watch TV or do things around the house. Just come back to you Playstation every 20 an a bit minutes and reset the race, and there is not much effort in it to earn credits.
@@drewjacobson60Using Remote Motion Sensor Function, so the car will wall ride the whole race. Use a rubber band to hold down the (R2) button which is the throttle, and re-sign (R1) button for Nitrous you can use the same rubber band for both. You need a Honda Beat with engine swap and a SRT Tomahawk X VGT, and ther is a Honda Beat in the used car section now if you want to do this.
Cudos to you for figuring that out and explaining it to GT7 players in a video. BUT exploiting glitches, an Oval track and (worst of all) wall riding. 🧐 I guess I don't need those credits desperately enough to be OK with that...
@TheSilverShadow17 where did I tell anybody how to play the game? I said that I don't need the money desperately enough to resort to using all the exploits available. That DOES NOT mean that I am trying to tell anybody how to play the game. It just means that I have decided for myself to not resort to using exploits. And still I managed to get all the cars (most even 3 times for different engine swaps etc), complete all the challenges, earn all trophies and still have 35+ million credits in my main account. My secondary account is not even 1/3 of the way through all the content and has only 1.5 million credits, but I still wouldn't use exploits. Call me old school or whatever. It just brings me more enjoyment to know that I could make it through a game (any game) without using exploits, cheat codes etc. BUT, again, you do you and I do what I deem best for my gaming experience. So people here attacking me for voicing my opinions must either be a lacking command of the English language (or poor reading skills) or some kind of "bruised ego" deal... I don't care either way.
Did you swap back to the fully upgraded set-up? What speeds are you reaching on the straights? If you're struggling, you can adjust the gear ratios of the nissans so they're slower
Thinking about this to get me the 20mil to buy a McLaren F1 and realizing that this'll take me 10 hours of effort... and buying 20mil in microtransactions would cost me $200 USD... and I make six figures a year... My solution: I won't bother.
The winnings from custom races are based on the PP-rating of your car when you start the race. If the Jimny has under 200PP, you get better rewards than if you enter it fully upgraded. But, if you swap set-up sheets after the race has loaded up, winnings stay the same.
You have to buy it to have it available. Its like you drive to a track in your low power car, some inspector looks at your it and rates you 200pp, and then when his back is turned you install all the parts you had in your backpack.
@@lukaszpspam You set up the race with the lower PP, but the race would take very long if you use the sub-200PP set-up with 40BHP. So, we switch to the upgraded set-up with 150BHP so the race can be won quicker.
@@watchandjewelryloft4713 Haven't tried it since it's very expensive, but since the car only just gets 700PP with 1000hp, I'm not sure the swap would get to 800. The more power you add, you get diminishing returns on PP-rating.
Track experience makes the biggest difference to rewards, do I'm fairly sure it's 50-100k less per race. I have just uploaded a video guide to the track experience, though.
Best race for this is spa gr3 endurance , buy turbo to make it easier and you have 1.5 mil every hour and if you set up car just right to have similar times as ai race leader you have interesing race, not as repetitive as all those youtube tutorials
Doesn't work for me. Did everything as you did (+- 5PP - still over 700 and under 200) but my Jimny doesn't go faster than 150km/h, I guess it still counts the 200PP Jimny, so I can't even get to the Nissans.. By the way it's a bit annoying to play each part of the video 5 times because of the speeded shop & tune parts 😏
I was trying not to pad out the length of the video. I'm not sure how the Jimny isn't going beyond 150kph. Have you swapped back to the upgraded set-up before you enter the race? Do you have nitrous? Do you have the gear ratios set to go faster than 150?
Then is annoying the voice when it is slowed at 0.50x speed 🤷🏻 It would be just easier for everyone to put a screenshot with the bought parts and tune done after each part or to wait a bit at the screen I've had swap the car settings Just tried that again, problem was probably that my nitro is not working somehow, because anytime i jump (even a little hop) turns my nitro off but it's sign is still red like it's using.. So after each hop I had to turn it on again and after the race I still had a third of the nitro unused.. Finished the race 1st, but in 12:07,490 and didn't get the clean race bonus even when I didn't hit anyone.. Will take a look on it but so far I wasted a milion credits to tune cars I dont use and online time trials/tokyo/sardegna is still beter grind race and my thumb doesn't hurt from the nitro 😂
Yes, since you don't need any engine swaps to do it, but the pay will be less. The circuit experience will make the biggest difference to payouts, though.

The video above say it's a lazy way of getting credits whick is ok, but I would not say Sardenga or Spa is the lazy way of getting credits. Ok they are very good 2 tracks to make you be a better driver, but again they are not the lazy way is it of getting credits.
Because I've done all four of the grinding races too many times to count, I'm not learning anything from them. They are mind-numbingly boring. Yet I still have to think when to brake, turn etc. This method is to take the effort out while earning more money. Win-win.
If they had made GT7 like I don't know, a Gran Turismo perhaps, then you wouldn't need such an elaborate way of grinding money. But alas, they decided to go the degenerate route of microtransgressions and make tuning and cars absurdly expensive. It is by far the worst Gran Turismo although the basics have potential. So sad...
Between graphics, customisation, livery editor, car choice and physics, it has the potential to be by far the best GT game ever. But I agree with you - the price gouging and total lack of a decent single-player career makes it the worst game so far. Still very enjoyable though, there's just a lot of crap you have to wade through to find the bits of the game that shine.
@@fossilfueled27 That's probably the most infuriating part of it. It has great potential and I really like for example the heat crackling in the reward screen. But there are so so many small flaws, it adds up to a big shitshow. Imagine buying a 2m Ultra HD tv with more colours than there are stars and such, but here and there is a defective pixel. A defective pixel is not a big thing per se, but having 5 defective pixels, shit soundsystem, annoying interface and people talking to you and interrupting you for mondane poop, still renders a great TV let's say superiorly subpar.
Ive been creating my races for awhile now. I set how many laps on the race i want, and the kind of cars i race against. 2 laps at nurburghring can give you up to 111000 creds
If you have a nerfed set-up to change to before setting up the race you can increase those payouts massively, I use a Volvo V40 to get well over 250k for 2 laps.
