Jumping directly into long races like that, when your VR legs are not well trained, leads to the dark side. Start out small, REALLY small. 5-10 min sessions, no more, then slowly build up resistance. It takes a bit of time to get used to. Once you get the hang of it, you might never return to 2D racing :)

Such a shame you get motion sickness from it. I’ve had PSVR2 since launch and use it every time I play GT7 now and love every minute of it!

@@Dung_Beetle1617 yeah I think plenty more races and I will get used to it. To be fair, the first time I tried it - I barely managed the first sector of the Nordschleife! So to manage 6 laps, I’m definitely doing a bit better now, haha!

Yeah. Felt seasickness in my early PSVR2 days. Trained myself to get over it. But then, I remember GT7 initially in 2D - the initial look back at the car coming towards us, the spin around and being thrown into the driver's seat, used to nauseate me!

Yeah hopefully I can train myself to get more used to it over time! The feeling is amazing and realism is incredible! Most people seem to prefer the stream in 2D, as streaming in VR definitely isn’t as good as an experience. I might just have to reserve VR racing for offline/private lobbies only!

Brilliant stream! I have a VR2 as well, and did this race a few times, with no success. One race I missed the pit entry and had to do a complete lap in heavy rain on slicks. Took me over 12 minutes, LOL. Re lack of race info in the HUD, yeah, I agree. I just lost a 15-lap Race C by 2 sec. I was leading all the way, and pitted on lap 14, not knowing the gap to a guy who had pitted earlier. He passed me as I was leaving pits, to win. I would have pushed a little harder if I'd known. But what the Hell, I love my VR2

I get motion sickness in games I have to walk around in, in GT I don't unless I go in reverse, then i feel weird, I do have a fan blowing at me just cause i get hot as hell in the headset so that might help when I'm playing GT

Yup, I was a little sick each time for about a week. You soon get used to it, and now I can do long, long sessions in VR.

😂😂 been there, done that. Also not my thing. But it is a great experience.👌🏻 Especialy the open single seater cars are amazing. You should try those out once. Still sick. But with a little smile on your face... 😉🤢👌🏻

@@Dung_Beetle1617 i’ve only done VR for sim racing (Gran Turismo!) I did one of those pretend roller coaster rides once but also didn’t enjoy that, ha!
