Can confirm I tried this race two days in a row maybe 30 mins each session before I raged my safety rating went from S to C due to me getting obliterated in turn one every time lmao. Was excited to race Fuji in super formula cars but this race is absolute carnage.

Thanks for this video, and well done. I didn't know that an overtake button existed--thanks for letting us know. The best I could do in this race without overtake was running 1:23's on a good lap. Now I'd like to go back and see how much the overtake feature actually helps. Also, I feel you on the bogus penalties. Not sure what's happening at Polyphony Digital these days, but it seems like there's a lot of that lately.

Made me laugh very much. I raced this ONCE and only once. I missed the shenanigans and got 4th. Was in first after turn 1 and all the mayhem but the A drivers passed me and my B level skills. Perfect video

At 4:32 I did something similar to this part cuz I was doing a Gr.1 race but with the A.I. cars and I was using the SF19 car. On one of the laps I was drag racing a Peugeot L750R on the final turn and we were literally side by side trying to pass each other but sadly the Peugeot had the advantage but I manage to pass it on the first turn. Was like being in the 2 fast 2 furious scene lol.

I think you may have found a bug in the penalty system with that 2 second penalty at the start. Because you hit some one, and then immediately after a car near you went off the track. It makes me think the penalty controller is simply looking for collisions, and the position of surrounding cars in the next couple of seconds. I think you could easily test this with 3 or 4 people.

Try launching in second gear in these things during a standing start. The gearing on SF's help make that work. Not something you'd do with most all cars but you can get some really good starts like that in these.

Unfortunately, in GT7 you have to hit the car off the track to avoid a penalty. If they stay on track and suffer no consequences you will get penalized. 😂

This was my favourite race of the three this week. I even managed to win it before remembering I had the overtake button! Spa in Gr. 3 cars was not fun, and I feel they need to give Group 3 a bit of a rest for a couple of weeks now. I’d be up for more road car/clubman cup-style races like what you get in the career mode. Hell, even group 2 or 1 would be more fun. The Gr. 2 race around Spa a few weeks ago was a ton of fun.

More like "The Grand Prix of DR Resets", I had a major reset down to A but thankfully did a long day of Daily Race C grinding and got back up to A+ very quick. I want to love driving the SF23 but the DR SR resets are so infuriating that you can't trust any driver in the lobby to get through turn 1 cleanly.

That last race was awesome - nice job! Honestly? I kinda hate this track because I'm really not that good racing here. I need to start running solo laps so I can actually learn the track since I always avoid it like the plague.
