Thanks! I won it with your settings! Had one track limits penalty that was 2.5 seconds, seemed really harsh lost like 5 seconds, ended up passing the Mclaren and Renault on the last lap and won by 1.5s. Ran 1:35s pretty consistently the whole race with a few outliers
Thanks for this setup, I’m currently in the “testing phase”, did a couple 10 minute runs but I don’t seem to be able to achieve times lower than 1:36:900 with a controller, and after the 10 minute mark I start making mistakes and get penalties, guess it boils down to “skill issue” 😂 gonna give it a few more laps and see if I can learn when to break to have cleaner turns.
practice makes perfect mate. keep at it!. You have the right mindset and taking the right steps to improving, you will have the pace to win this race in no time.
I’m gonna use this car and try your method. I was close to winning with the MX-5 Touring Car. I was in 1st but the right tyres were shot, I could have kept going even at that but I wouldn’t have had enough fuel to win. Had to pit and came in 6th…gutted!
Not a pleasant feeling to have lost a 1 hour race. The car I used is super stable and easy to drive, it feels similar to the MX5 touring car but has better fuel saving and easier on tyres
@@ProdigyRacing Update. I gave the MX-5 TC another shot this time with a custom rear spoiler so I could adjust the aero. I also pitted after half an hour to allow myself sufficient time to catch back up to the other cars. I dropped from first place back to fourth but gained first again after two laps and won. Also because the PP went down after installing the spoiler I was able to crank out another couple of horsepower to. I’ve done three endurance races today and I’ve just three more left and I’ve done the lot.
I used engine swapped Mazda 3. Just don't stop at all. That 787b engine is super fast and fuel efficient. After 20min tires are dead but I just keep on. 1.38 lap times with no stop ez win
@@jpires15 all weight reduction+ body rigidity, all break upgrades, break bias all the way to back, then use ECU & power restrictor to detune to 620 PP. You will still be faster on straight + turning. Just stay on the track, remember slow is fast. Tires will die 20 min in but just don't pit. There is still grip. As long as you do 1.37-1.38 lap time, you will be fine. Also don't get penalty. Good luck!
Thanks man! Thats a huge help! I tried once with some simple mods but was not enough. The car was moving a lot because of the weight and the breaking was terrible. But the engine was amazing. Even doing around 1:38/1:39/1:40, i finished 3rd. With those mods, is going to be easy to beat this.
I tried this set up and I ended up winning with 15 seconds difference, but it other sessions it felt more difficult, so it changes sometimes but stay consistent on the 1.34 or 1.35 and seems to be enough for gold My tires didn’t last a lot but enough to stay comfy for de 20 minutes, on controller btw
This setup is very good and car feels nice around corners, i just struggle to keep consistent lap times. I am playing on a controller though, I think I need more practice. Whats interesting is that even on TCS 0 the car is still easy drive when exiting corners. I see you use strong counter steering in the setup, I forgot to turn it on, does it make a signficant difference?
Yeah, the car feels like its on rails around this track. Counter steering is definitely helping but I am not sure how significant it is. If you haven't used it before its definitely worth trying to see if it benefits you. Everyone's driving style is different tho and some settings that work for me may not work for you.
@@ProdigyRacing I was finally successful with your build, i just decided to go for one stop driving a bit more careful and saving tyres. So i did a stop right at 30 minutes mark, got around 68% of fuel and changed hard tyres for new ones. I didn't have a huge lead to 2nd place, but I won quite comfortably, thank you very much again for the build. I set the balance to 0, as you said its just the preference and driving style
I do exactly the same thing. The only differences are that I make the difficulty level easy and the gear shift automatically. I close the race on the 10th. Place and have lap times from 1:38
Could not do this for the life of me in the McLaren, I am using a pad and automatic coz fuck shifting for an hour long race....just use the Mégane trophy i just put the ecu to 84 and whacked 10 ballast on don't need any other tuning ....1 pit for tyres at 30 mins fuel map 1 all race no refuelling you don't even have to be fast just don't get penalties and it's easy. You're not racing the fast guys you're just racing suswillo and beavois who both do a no stop...all the faster cars will pit themselves out of the race
I won this race using the Honda RA272 on mediums and on fuel map one. YOU DONT HAVE TO PIT. It's not as fast as the Taycan, its just as fast as the second place McLaren so you will pass him when he pits. I came in with a 15 second lead over second place.

Thanks man!! Each update works different. I tried the video method and it didnt work, I can not stop at min 40 because at min 25 I start to lose time because tyre worn. I ended 5th With the RA272 and hard tyres I took the lead before anyone pit (only Inostroza the taycan), before half hour.
@motinolawson6638 The RA272 is also "The GOAT" when it comes to the LeMans PP 700, 1 hour race. Barely uses tires, barely uses fuel and it reaches crazy speed on the straights
@@ProdigyRacing After 2 years of bugs you should have all the cars... You can race few times Tokyo 825.000cr or similar. I get them doing races at Indy speedway driving through the wall with the throttle stuck
@@motinolawson6638 I have all the cars obviously but when making guides, a lot of casual players dont have the time to play a lot to gain credits or wait for the legends dealership rotation so my guides will always feature cars that can be purchased from brand central.
are you using a controller or steering wheel? Using a controller takes a lot more practice to be ultra smooth with steering. When entering a corner if you're going a little bit to fast and are using a lot of steering input your tyres will scrub causing them to wear quicker than normal. Practice being a bit more delicate with steering input and you will start to see a difference in tyre wear, this takes a long time to learn on controller and steering wheel so have some patience. Using stability control, traction control and ABS will help with tyre wear as well.
@@ProdigyRacing - Ya, I'm using a controller. I feel like it's definitely more difficult to make fine steering adjustment with the controller. Thank you for the input. :)
@vjmickelson1 agreed, super hard to learn on controller, I’ve had years of practice on controller before getting my sim setup and I still struggled sometimes. The McLaren is pretty easy to drive so it shouldn’t take too much practice. In terms of strategy, i do pit twice in this race, make sure you change tyres at both pit stops. You can drive on the tyres until it’s pretty much full red without losing too much grip. Just keep practicing and you will improve.
Practice makes perfect. The steering wheel and pedals has a small advantage because of how smooth you can be compared to a controller but it is achievable on controller as well with LOTS of practice.
@@mr.triplem2458 practice. It’s the best advice I can give you. Learning how to manage tyre wear isn’t a skill you can learn overnight. It takes ALOT of practice. Smooth inputs when steering through corners and depending on what car you’re driving you need to be smoother when applying throttle and brakes.
@claudiorigamonti6359 oh that’s interesting. I don’t think the extra horsepower will make a difference in the strategy. You have the same PP as my setup which is more important. Give the strategy a go and let me know if you have any more problems.

Quick note: in Autopolis's Human Comedy, I did the 2-stop strategy; due to changing gears differently, I was able to do 8 laps per stop there. I had to pit again for the very last moments of the race, but on average, a few less than 20 minutes for each stop, and it still worked
