Starting that far back in this crowd means a podium is a good result. Gotta love the big Wankel screamer when she has room enough to get used properly on a decent track!....Wirrrrrrrrrr....🎉🎉🎉
One bad thing about GR.1 old cars is that they take their time in changing the gear, you can hear that when he goes up it seems like it needs time in inserting the new gear. (sorry for bad English, not native language)
Just fiddle around with the gear ratios a bit, this makes this old mazda a different beast, I find it handles medium tyres better and I get faster lap time than a 1.37... usually mid to low 1.26s 👍
