Since it’s slow enough stock with great handling, I’ve been trying to fling this Swedish brick around the Nordschleife without touching the brakes, it is a stupid amount of fun
Car-Wishlist for Touringcar-Builds 🥳 Bmw e36 Opel Astra Nissan Primera Peugeot 406 Audi A4 Mercedes W203 Toyota Celica T23 Honda Accord Honda Civic EK9 Sedan Ford Mondeo Lexus IS 300 Mazda 323F Mazda 6 Already happy that we got so many cars to turn into racecars tho
Slower cars in their standard form are an absolute blast to push hard. Always have been. Some of my favourites have been the older cars for that reason. The Citroen DS, Renault 4 and this Volvo 240. Love them!
this game needs Cadillac. I been wanting a CTS, CTS-V, the V-12 '09 CIEN, & how about an Escalade. also needed is the Honda RSX TYPE R. I Rember THE V-12 caddy in GT4 I think. I really hope we eventually get these cars.
I used to have one irl almost 2 decades ago, and I don't know why they decided to to use the smallest engine of the range for the game... Yes, I did say a 2 litre engine is the smallest...
This is one of my all time favourite cats, turbo brick FTW Also, i don't get why you're saying it's heavy, it's barely over a tonne tuned and a lot lighter than most of the cars in the game, lighter than a VW Golf or a current Civic, lighter than an E30 M3, a Clio V6, S14, Cobra Daytona, 66 GT40, W194 race car and more, and this is comparing fully tuned to fully tuned
A 2JZ or high power LS swap would be epic for a drift car, but it could be nearly any swap as the engine bay is big enough to fit a wide range of engines and there are a ton of Volvo engine swap projects. A Ford V8 could work given Ford’s past ownership of Volvo or even a Yamaha V10 from the LFA, given Yamaha’s involvement in creating the V8 for the Volvo XC90. If only Polyphony could give us the option to choose from multiple engine swaps like Forza and Need for Speed, that would be great.
I haven't had a go yet, but I bought two, one for standard, one to tune, and I wish I'd bought another one ready for a potential engine swap. Unless they are going to introduce a Volvo touring car which could donate an engine, I think an Aston Martin engine would suit the car nicely. I love Volvos, I have a 960 and an 850, and am delighted that one is into the game at last. Hope there are more in the pipeline.
