This is one of my favourite songs of all time. And a middle-aged Japanese man with moustashce performing the main melody is the way I always envisioned it. Perfection.
the fact Kaz Yamauchi got Andoh himself to make music for GT since the very first game (and GT1 didn't have the budget current GTs have) is MIND-BLOWING not just that but finding talented relatively unknown (for the masses) musicians like daiki kasho (who is the music director of GT since 7 after Andoh left) or (since Sport) Lenny Ibizarre and giving them a spotlight in GT
Before I die of old age this is the last song i would love to hear...Gran Turismo takes the biggest part of my life without it, it will be hard for me to find an inspiration to get going
I hear you... When we were 14 years old, my friends and me were grinding the first GranTurismo ! Then we payed a shop to import GT2 and we almost cried when we recognized the theme on piano ! Then we grinded GT2 ! I always keeped the dream of the Mitsubishi GTO or 3000gt, which I finally bought in 2007 and still have, with so much pride! Everytime I drive it, I feel on high speed ring !
@@InitialDuke wow congrats on having your dream car mate. Im still wishing on owning a NSX one day and i'll put the Castrol livery on it or just paint it with imola orange to pay tribute for Gran Turismo
kerwinpogi092 i fell in love with this song when i first heard while playing gran turismo 4 back in my high school days well over 10yrs ago this is just one of those songs you will never get sick of hearing
@@mortundad oh god that was the year i got my first PS1 console when i was 7 i played GT1 but I don't remember the game that well i did play GT2 a lot though
Actually, this was originally written by Ando Masahiro to be the Gran Turismo, and he soon after brought it over to T-Square, where he wrote a new arrangement to be released as Knight's Song.
@@thebigitchy this song was originally written by Masahiro Ando for his album "Andy's" in 1996, one year before Gran Turismo version ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-iFDKFo3Bt4g.html
@@thebigitchy not exactly. it wasn't written FOR gran turismo, it was written for his album titled Andys, which was the basis for the GT ost. However, the t-square album blue in red, which has knights song, was also released 7 months before gt1. this version is 100% knights song tho, this arrangement appeared on one of their self cover albums
