One of the things I love the most about this channel is that SuperGT does not makes excuses, he is fully capable of recognizing when another driver makes the right decisions and takes the position. Even the best driver in the world can't be the best at every single car/circuit combination. Well done, mate! Cheers

I agree. That's what I like so much about him. He's not professing to be the greatest driver in the world and he doesn't just show him winning races and dominating etc. I think it really adds that human touch

Yes he had bit failures in this track, but in last 4 years of playing Gran Turismo Sport he has always been respectful to other drivers with no stupid childish arrogance, when he lets past fast dude, when waste defending against fast driver that keeps the pressure up, so rather let him past and try get more speed from his fast slipstream. Super gt has been respectful driber since 2017, when he started to play this game and now this game is comming near death, when Granturismo 7 is comming out.

Near miss is correct because using near as an adjective implies that the second word is something that actually happened (so you missed, but you were near). Ie., you could also say big miss or fast miss or stupid miss, they are all you missing. Now, if you said you “nearly hit” that works, since it’s being used as an adverb the implication in this case is that the second word _didn’t_ happen. If you put nearly miss, for example, it sounds like you actually hit the thing. Anyway, I’m really over thinking it now, but I believe this is correct.

The fun thing about this is when it all get’s turned on it’s head by “near death experience”. Yes you were near death, but you didn’t die. If it followed the same pattern I described above it would have to be a “near life” experience. Gawd who even knows?

Steve i can tell you that the english and dutch had a very prosperous and friendly alliance stemming all the way back to the Anglo-dutch alliances of 1814 and 1824, along with the invitation of the William 3rd of the Dutch house of Orange-Nassau to become head of state in 1688. Basically the Dutch are our closest allies.

"Near Miss", ah, yeah, that. When I thought about why it was called that, it felt as though I had entered severe psychosis. In fact, my brain turned into Mountain Dew Baja Blast upon pondering this. It is indeed called a near miss, because, they got NEAR you, but missed. In other words, a near miss. As if to say, a close miss, which makes a lot more sense. Blame the English language, Steve.
