That's condensation as we are located 1 mile from the beach. what you see dripping is from the gasket as it takes longer than 10 Seconds for it to take its new shape after being squished.
So let’s talk about finding a spot for this set up. The motor looks small but everything together is really big and you gonna need a lot of space. First check under your car for space and plan out everything. I literally had to hammer in the floor to fit in this as this mfkin set up is huge and hopefully it doesn’t fail like others as I paid $350+ for this but I’ll update u guys.
Awesome product but as I work in the marine industry I know that heat shrink doesnt in fact make a water tight seal but can cause more damage by trapping water inside. I would suggest useing self amalgamating tape, this will give you a perfect seal protecting the connection from the elements.
You guys should make a 2 inch pipe version for the other misc. cars that aren't gm ford or chevy, it would help probably a lot of people out, I'd buy this thing in a hurry if there was a kit that fit my car.
Wow...! This is very cool... I just recently purchased a Black C4 1995 Vette super clean ... bone stock never seen rain or snow with 87k.. would this work? I guess I would need 2 of these applications?

Do you get the same size as your pipe or .25 inches bigger? Like will the 2.25 in size fit perfectly or should I get 2.5 inch for it to slide on top of factory pipes
So I brought this about three months ago now I’m constantly recently hearing a rattle from inside, I believe it’s coming from the flat any idea? What to do with this situation?
@@GranatelliMotorSports yeah so I laid under the car and it looks like the flats are moving inside of them making rattling noise. If I put my finger on it they don’t move as soon as I remove my finger you can hear the rattle, so the flap is not completely closed.
I just went to your website to order this but it does not appear that the slip fit exhaust connectors are included in the package? Are these not shown or are they purchased separately?
Where is the install steps on how to wire? Video completely skips this part. Don’t know why 95% of videos on RU-vid are half done and leave out steps in process, very frustrating.
Every car and truck is different. that is why we didn't show that part. Our kit is simple to wire up. You can always connect straight to the battery or wire it to key hot under the steering wheel
When we made the video, we were simply explaining the concept and what makes.oura unique and therefore best. WIRING is simple😊. It's power and ground. We recommend key hot. The only other connection is plug and play. Our website has detailed instructions as well. Sorry for any confusion
So my question is, when the cutout is activated, it does not block off the muffler section so exaust will be released from the cutout and muffler this has me mind boggled because wouldn't you get way more sound if all of the exaust is being released from cutout alone not throght the intersection of both?
you know, with x amount of fabrication. .. buy 2 of those and get the valve junk from the second one welded in the straight section behind that y so it'd make a block plate when closed. the exhaust would all go out the open end. murphys law to that is .. if you have both of the closed at the same time something not good is bound to happen
Seals 👍 great! When our valve shuts, it mates to a landing seal on before sides of the blade. We don't market them as water or air tight but they are as close as you can get

All our kits have the instruction how to make 2 brains work off one switch. If you cant find it you can always call in. 805-486-6644 You will need to cut the one switch wires off the back and stripe and connect them to the other switch we give you the clips to crimp the wires to the switch. Or You can always upgrade to the wireless remote all you do is plug in and play Part number 303510R-D

@@thepro4x362 No problem with electronics parts and no problem with wet road. This cut out works well. I use it since one years now. I drive 100 kms per days I open it every days. I hope it help you.
Every car is different. But we recommend wiring it up to a KEY HOT wire so you don't drain the battery as it could put a small drain on the batter over time if you do a direct hook to the battery
I've had this on the car for about 1k miles. It's starting to not hold the close position well anymore. When closed it's fine on idle but as soon as I get on throttle it starts rattling.
What if you bypassed the switch and gave full open/closed through tbe control box constant 12volts? Would that end up damaging it over time? I'm looking at getting this for my dodge charger a linking them to my sport mode feature.
There is another video that shows you can install the standard switch instead of this full open/close auto shut-off switch (smart box). It makes their system like all the other systems that you have to manually control the open/close by holding the switch in the correct position. I would think if you want the best of both worlds, install the switches in parallel so that you can bypass either one when you choose to do so. We offer that option but as shipped its OPEN or closed. You will find that opening half way sounds the same as wide open - its just better for the valve to be opened or closed all the way
I just installed this one yesterday on my 19 ram classic 1500 hemi and at idle it sounds like a POS car with no muffle kinda like a boat!!! It only sounds good when ur going fast .. I’m really pissed off .. do not recommend at all..
