More tips for Extra 30 Seconds Link mode: 1. Utilise characters that main unlimited combo (Lancelot, Charlotta, Eugen rapid fire, Zeta loop) by using both Combo boost and Combo finishers. It increase A LOT link gauge (not percentage) 2. Be Aware when is your looping time. One looping time is always guaranteed to break Overdrive mode. Use it when a boss is Overdrive > SBA > Loop again. 3. Huge Damage time comes in 2 roles. Overdrive Assassin and Breaker Assassin (230% damage multiplier) so if you manage to loop either in one mode (Break or Overdrive) you always guaranteed to wipe boss health bar faster to skip phases.
Also Hostility mechanic isn't mentioned.... in later game you'll be fight and farm 2-3 bosses at the same time. You need characters who can pull, tank and hostile two other bosses (Vaseraga, Katalina, Vane, Siegfried, Ghandagoza and Rackham) . While others focus on one boss. (Hostile sigils play big role to draw bosses targeting)
There is actually a sigil called War Elemental, which makes all your attacks the "superior element" or, in other words, it makes your attacks match the elemental weakness of the boss.
How do I put the correct settings where my party members will only use SBA once I start SBA? And is there any settings that I could set who would be the first to do SBA?
On ps5 it's the middle button while in combat. I think also in the settings. You can change the behavior for cpu team to trigger sba when it's full or for them to hold it until you start it.
How do I make them inititate the burst? I pumped them to 100% and only the player char did the burst. I set it "wait on player char to burst". I tried it on the first mission on the Goblin shield boss...but only Eugen did it.
Loving am the content from you guys for this. The combat is soo deep, half of the reason for which is how differently all the characters play from each other. They really did a fantastic job making freaking 18 different characters all feel unique and fun.
I don't know if people know this, but you can perfect dodge bosses' Overdrive start-up animation. I like it, because it allows you to keep wailing on them.
Even better, perfect dodge and then lock it down with some cc before it can start it's bloodthirst. If your team is good enough, youll skip the whole overdrive.
Pro tip for endgame content that you are still learning: hold your block button down the entire time and you can still do your combos and abilities as normal. When you are hit your animation will automatically cancel and you will block whatever damage you should have received. You will be nearly unkillable with a few levels of guts and autorevive
If you dodge and block at the last second, at the same time you increase your chances for a perfect dodge, or a perfect block. It's an option select that, if you miss the perfect block you get a dodge, and vice versa.
Meanwhile, I'm soloing the game with just the main character cuz it makes the game feel like a souls game. The 4-man party is too OP, I'm using them just on those red stones where powerful enemies show up and you have limited time to kill them. My builds will be ruined for sure, but maaan, it's so much fun soloing this game. Feels like playing Sekiro, but actually having enough healing items and not having to die for every small mistake. If I reach critical state I restart from the checkpoint though. It's like having the souls game that I always wanted. Just hard and challenging, without the usual bs, insanity and unfairness.
Stun builds are underrated imo from my experience. Using support siegfried with a shit ton of health and stun (ofc using the sigil that allows more dmg the more hp you have) coupled with his ability that stuns with a Shockwave, bosses have way more down time unable to move allowing for crazy damage over and over. Idk how viable this is against the very last bosses but something tells me it'll help with those damage checks too
Really sad that the NPCs don't seem to be smart enough to SBA with matching elements if one is present. One more vote for the War Elemental sigil, once you can get it.
The CPU menbers are already smart enough that they can out perform you and steal MVP title from players especially if they are well built. Making them more smarter is just asking the cpu to carry you all throughout the game.
Is there a way when playing solo to have the character with the correct element trigger their SBA on demand? For ex. I use Siegfried as my player character, but a boss I fought was weak to Water so I wanted Katalina to use her SBA first. Not sure if there is a setting or something I am missing to get the CPU party memeber of the correct element to use their SBA to start the chain.
okay so since he didnt mention it for a full ougi(SBA) burst you can start it it bit early because when you ougi you give your teammate 10% charge bar this is unnoticed in most coop room it seems because someplayers are not sand farmers
I would say damage cap is one of the most important things to learn, I didn’t realize my damage was locked for like 2 days, stacking all damage sigils is completely pointless and the game never mentions it.
you can hold guard while doing normal attacks, and if the enemy attacks you you will auto guard. doesnt proc perfect guard but its a huge help trying to get your combos off.
Is it then most optimal to break an enemy, so they are stunned and weakened, then link attack in order to gain slow down mode, SBA to extend that time? Am o getting the order right?
I havent reach proud yet but i start seeing "damage cap" trait. If this game work the same as gbf web browser game, you will need this skill at max instead more of damage and crit chance (i think crit damage is fine?) And i dont see this trait yet but i see zeta have skill that increase "supplemental damage" if this trait exist and works the same as the browser game. Character with tons of hit will deal MASSIVE damage if you stack this trait. Supplemental damage is bassically added flat damage to each tick of damage, iirc cant crit but its added after total damage and dont have cap
When can you swap out Gran/Djeeta with a different hero out of your party? Do I have to use him/her for the whole story campaign? I want to start using different hero other than the main character because he/she sucks.
You have to use him and have him well built since their are story parts where you only have to play as him/her. Like just assign other members as party leader and so you don't have to play as the mc.
there are times that AI or CPU use sba first.. how can we turn that off.. like, they will wait for me to use my SBA before theirs.. the settings is on hold but they still cast their sba
Didn't had such problem. If they used the sba where you are at 70. It's because they can link to a full chain burst by giving you 30 sba gauge during their sba gauge. If you are playing sieg or slow hitting chara. Get the uplift. I think if u wanna trigger sba with ai in the team it's needed. Also timing based character especially slow ones need the full well timed combo to give u a burst of gauge. If not it's kinda hard to time it with ai compared to coop
I really hope this game becomes a live service in the near future. I know what the devs said, but there is NO WAY they are not even thinking about. It fits way to well that would be a waste if this game ever dies because the content stopped
Got a question which is a bit irrelevant with the video. Has anyone of you guys reached endgame using Id? If yes can you tell me your opinion about this character? Got him at lvl 61 right now and he is part of my main team but i haven't seen any youtuber who does content using him and was wondering if he has a weakness i am not aware about which make him a bit irrelevant at the endgame.
I have Id at lvl 100 with 17000+ PWR. I would say Id is a power house in terms of boss damage as well as part damage. His skills all do good enough damage and his Ragnarok form is probably the best way to do most of his damage since his beam sweep and distance closer are really strong. His Godmight form is even more powerful, but I would only use the Godmight combo finisher to maximize damage for a Fullburst or to simply destroy overdrive meter and send the boss into Break. I would say Ids only weakness is that he can’t clear groups of enemies very easily unless you use his AOE slash skill, but overall if you can keep his Dragonform up you can pretty much clear survivals and defense quest relatively easily. He’s got a good health pool reaching above 35k and if you mainly focus Atk + Tyranny + Dmg Cap sigils, you can easily have over 10K Atk and the most I’ve done with him in a single big hit was around 700-890K. But I am still building him up and I’m trying to get better Over masteries so I can min max his damage. Overall, I would say Id is a great main lead for any team.
@@smart7927 Thank you very much for your answer, i really like the way he plays so i will invest in him. My current team is Cagliostro, Vane, Percival and Id. I wasn't sure if i should replace Id or Vane because they seem both more tanky characters for a more squishy damage dealer. Any suggestions are welcome.
@@zedran3701 I have pretty much the same team (Cagliostro, Vane, and Percival). I'm trying to figure out my 4th slot as well and I've been alternating between Ferry and the Captain. Vane and Percival do amazing damage and depending on how you build Vane he can also be quite bulky. I like the captain because the utility is off the charts and has a lot of great skills to support and mitigate damage (while dealing some damage out). Ferry I picked because I like the light element a lot and she doesn't seem to be as complex as the other characters in terms of her combos. I built my cagliostro as a hybrid attack/support when playing solo and when online with others I run full support skills/sigils. I haven't tried any of the gunners like Eugene and Rackam but they might work and even Io could be a good 4th slot for status effects alone. So I think just pin down the roles each member of your team and then fill in the gaps. Also agree with everything smart7927 said about Id. Dude is him ngl (I still want Rolan though lol).
very curious , can we get invincibility while it's already effected ? like i did a perfect dodge and i do it again it'll grant invinc buff even though it already exists ?
