One thing I haven't heard anyone talk about yet, during Trinity of Terror, you can pick up the defeated swords and throw them at the others, which deals good damage and debuffs them.
A trick you can do during paradise lost so you don’t get knocked down like you did near the end of the fight is to hold guard the entire time you dodge the circles. You got clipped by the lasers that are hard to avoid and if you were holding guard while dodging you would have been ok. Also if your character has ATK down that works on him to avoid being one shot during normal attacks. I played Zeta and once I saw paralyze didn’t work I tried her rain skill I never used before and he wasn’t immune and hits that killed before no longer did.
I mained her thanks to his guide on her through chapter 7 of the story. If you like playing more of a tactician, she is great. I ended up switching to Ferry as I liked the idea of jumping up and down over and over and over. 😂
Her 30% constant defense buff in this fight is actually very helpful to learning people. As well as her rose shield if you choose to run it cutting 40% damage on cooldowns and dangerous attack rotations. The big issue is if SHE goes down, you have to replant the roses and recast the buffs. That's the worst part of her design.
FYI, only his first paradise lost requires a full/over burst to prevent it from happening. Afterward, only one SBA is required to stop it. To those playing with randoms, I'd recommend you try and save your SBA if another party member has already initiated theirs.
You can also stop those other Paradise Lost charges by filling the link gauge and getting link attacks. Harder to do than just saving SBAs but the safety net is there.
Adding to this, it's best you use SBA at almost the last second before the bar fills up (which is really quick) to get more time to deal damage, though this is just a minor thing to consider since the bar is filling up really fast in the first place
@@TypoCMExcept for the first one because all your attacks get blocked and the damage is so negligible that its not even worth wasting your time so just burst as soon as he starts charging.
Link Attack knocks him out of Paradise Lost, and anytime you do a Full Burst the Link Gauge is set to 100%, build some stun, SBA mid fight, and get free Link Time when canceling Paradise Lost. Hell, run full uplift Ferry (yes, she still gains post fix) Percy, Cag, and your Character to try to get three Link Times, One after 5 man Burst, one between, and one for second Paradise Lost counter.
That 30% Def buff doing work! My group cleared him today too. Glad to see that we ran into similar difficulties with the wide laser sweep and paradise lost. We used Yodarha instead of Vane for Mirror Images as that gave the group more freedom to move around instead of scrambling to get under the bubble. Good luck farming this guy for trade materials and Damascus ingots.

When you are out of ideas for content let me know, I have some ideas but since my PC is from 2012, and is a laptop and the GPU is an MX 675 ( weird how InVidia did a 675 between the 670 and 680 laptop chips, it was at the time insanely good ). Essentially unless I have missed it, there is a specific niche that a content creator could fill for GBFR that only one other creator has even touched on.
When running AI or playing with randoms, slotting in Firm Stance can help with his trap + suck combo. Its a really nasty surprise when someone triggers a trap behind you while you're mid combo.
One way to make the first paradise lost pretty easy is by creeping along the edge of the platform from about 9 to 1-2 oclock if you take luci as 12. It means you only have to worry about 1 purple flash beam. Not sure how well it works for later ones if you cant prevent them and the further right your position is at the start the harder it is to get in that position, but i dont die at all during the first PL anymore for minimal effort.
Just a heads up for ppl, you don't need full SBA chain to cancel his second, third and etc Paradise lost. Even one works. So you only need to dodge first one. Also he has a lot of defense only during his 12 labors paradise lost, for other ones you do full damage so its good idea to wait a bit till using 1 or 2 SBAs to interrupt him, to do more damage.

@@Aiden-iy9du We just want to see the game succeed vs turrning away players because of bad grind practice. Good grind would be every run puts you closer to your goal. Bad grind is doing a run and not progressing at all.
playing with AI is also consistent. Someone in the team can burn the whole critical gauge down by themself, I even find some people who don't know mashing inputs will make them get up faster.
I wish you'd explain more about his red slash attacks cause I remember there was 2 variations, one needing you to be near him and one needing you be away from him. I ALWAYS die on that attack when I'm a melee character even though I can survive Final Rebellion pretty well Playing this with AI is just really better because alot of human players (including me) focus too much on dealing as much damage as they can instead of survivability. Alternatively you can use Vane or even Yodarha or Charlotta instead of Lancelot and just focus on surviving yourself and leaving your AI team to do a lot of heavy lifting in damage. It will take quite bit of time for clearing but it's honestly better than repeatedly wiping in open matchmaking where your teammates are always dying (unless you have coordinated friends).
Regarding the two aoe slashes, the one where you need to stay close is pretty well telegraphed and reactable(has wind swirling around). I found there's more room for error when dodging into him instead of away even if you're mid-range, theres deceptively more room in the middle. As for the "get away" aoe slash with the ground explosions. The startup is fast, with the reactable being that he flashes red. When he does use it, I use guard to block the first hit, then dodge after I hear the block sound. Since the multi hit is so fast, you're likely to trigger a perfect dodge from 1 of the 2-3 remaining hits. Even if you dont get a perfect, you can still get out of the circle and evade the rest. Improve dodge or Untouchable may help in this regard.
@@Laevatrien2 yeah the second slash actually is better to guard first before dodging, I tend to just spam dodges and sometimes it messes me up cause I dodge to the side of him even though I need to dodge away (cygames pls fix)
Still farming gallanza extreme for curios will take some time until i get my first dropped war elemental and supplementery sigil and need 3 per character that will take some years but i will farm quite some time gave myself time until sandalphon release to get them all one ask is there a better and faster way to farm curios? Or is this the best right now?
One ask how long did you farm to get your current amount of war elemental and supplementary dmg sigils and how much do you have right now? Im going to farm max 4 war and 12 supp sigils so that my group has them

I did this fight with AI on a lancelot. They carried my ass lmao. My AIs are pretty close to decked out. They oddly had the right timing for SBA use as well. But because of my shitty skills.... the fight took me 10:29. Few seconds missed. Also I only failed at one of the trials and it leaves a hp down debuff. It's a rough fight. Only concern with AIs are you are most likely the cause for critical failure and if your dps sucks then you will never pass the last 10% phase. You will need SBA timing or linked time by then.
@@doantruong5201 It actually increases the desire for supplementary v+ because now you miss out on a bunch of utility if you use the new sigils, plus, even if you somehow slot all 3 sets (and cap your new damage cap bonuses), it still won't beat the bonus supplementary damage gives you by itself. @@doantruong5201 Not really though? It increases the desire for Supplementary V+, since you give up a bunch of utility if you want to run the new sigils. Getting rid of supplementary damage to reach the new cap is a net negative. Assuming you can somehow use all 3 sets of sigils and reach the new caps, they don't get even close to the amount of bonus damage supp damage gives by itself. The fight itself is really cool, but the sigils are a bust, or niche at best
@@chrispalmer6804 yeah supplementary damage is free damage, but since we have now unlocked a higher damage cap, we'll need more sigils to fill said cap lowering the amount of sigil slots open for supplementary damage. Of course you could give up quality of life sigils like improved dodge, stout heart, potion hoarder, autorevive, guts, etc, but I dont know how many people are willing to give those up for supplementary damage.
The Damage Cap bonuses are additive? I feel like the bonus effects for hitting 30 are barely niche and then the damage cap being additive is giving a choice of do you want A little more damage with a bonus, An echo hit, OR defensive and utility use. Other than that the fight itself is fun. The AI makes it easy for the most part other than they tend not to want to hit the feathers at the first trial sometimes.
Imma give some great advice for this fight. Until people get better, double vane bubbles makes this fight... kinda trivial. they take out all the pressure of the BS giant attacks and limit you to just gettin good at normal mechanics. Honestly paradise losts bullshit lazers with almost 0 warning that come from nowhere are just stupid. He also has some seriously questionable attacks with very little warnings that still one shot decent geared characters. The fight is... Fair? Kinda? But still frustrating to go down to shit you honestly just didn't see comin with all his nonsense overloading the screen blocking vision Also, I kinda feel like rose tycoon is gimped here because they made this awful decision to just outright make lucilius straight up immine to ALL status ailments other then attack down and defense down... So I run boquet which is rather helpful to removing skill seal and SBA seal in clutch moments as long as YOU don't get skill sealed anyway. And boquet can just resummon all plants quickly as well to recover from one shots
Honestly, I'm kinda disappointed that all we have to grind for now after beating Luci is some sigils that are barely an upgrade over stuff you can already get. Hell, I would argue the fight itself, as cool as it is, isn't even that good of a grind right now because you can barely find random groups that can clear it consistently.
@@mooseclamps Honestly, that would be a godsend, because personally? I don't like the Terminus weapons. Having to deal with Catastrophe cutting your potential health and defense for some extra damage cap and attack power is fucking annoying.
Not what I was expecting to watch. Thought you'd explain the timings on dodging Luci's attacks, the cues before the attacks and more in-depth info like that, especially for a melee character. But you play a ranged one that can ignore the majority of his attacks anyway. And on top of that you play with Vane. The video is honestly pretty useless.
