You said hitting weakpoints with Siegfried is easier because of his reach, but what exactly are weakpoints? I couldn't find much information about this and how they work. On a similar note, you talked about critical hits ignoring hitzones. What do you mean by this exactly? I haven't heard anything about this so would be great if you could explain. Great in depth video, really looking forward to the next one!
In case anyone needs to know, Perfect Execution, your Triangle button/Y button finisher, doesn’t need to be timed whatsoever; you can just mash the button after your Combo Finisher or even after a dodge out of your Combo Finisher and it’ll come out every time. I just assumed it had to be timed because it does the same red glow when it activates that your perfectly timed strikes do, but this isn’t the case.
Not only can you do link attacks and dodges without stopping the combo, you an also use the Y lunge attacks in between, as long as you're not on the final string of the combo.
My fav character. Played so much with him. Was the first I unlocked. The timming of the atacks is very easy even if doesn't sound as. So don't be afraid to use him. My other fav character the big cow man has a harder to get perfect atacks
Put some Drain so you can trade easier and restore health back. Also Sieg is one of those characters where reaching damage cap is fairly easy, so you have a room for utility. Nimble Onslaught is another option, adds 3 seconds to invincibility, buffs defence by 20% and heals for sizeable amount upon performing a perfect dodge. Lets you basically do a combo without worrying about taking damage.
@@Yuchigo3 Orange and Blue don't stack. I tried stacking them and they end up just giving 3 seconds at max. But if you put on Orange and Red, they do give +6 seconds.
Excellent Work - This is a high quality video with loads of info that people are still not aware of. I appreciate the immense time and effort it took to make this video. I am asking you to make a low life charged build Vaseraga build guide as I am sure people love to see BIG numbers and the sigils required to make him will look much different than other builds. Its suited for players that don't like mashing buttons, some amount of knowledge about the monster opening, also awareness to see when your unkillable buff wears off lol. I'm able to hit 1.3million each of last two hits in the Square square square triangle triangle combo (playstation controls). I am sure that ppl can hit higher but i prefer quality of life and defensive sigils. Most importantly this damage can be obtained without the final random dropped weapon from the final boss, with that weapon you get Catatophe and the damage caps are raised and the numbers go BBBBRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!! good luck getting it to drop tho.
I think it is worth to mention that you can shorten the combo by timing the dodge after a perfect attack, so you can do the finisher quickly to get the stout heart bonus quicker.
I use the debuff immunity instead of parry. Helps me stay in combat against bosses when they put debuffs down. Flight or fight is perfect on sigfried even with the atk nerf. He doesnt need a lot of atk boosts and the invicibility bonus lets me keep my combos going after dodging without focusing on perfect dodging. He caps out on normal atks too early in so I use supplementary dmg and skill dmg to optimize my dps. Side note---If you miss the attack on the perfect combo, you can dodge to still get the last combo execution in. Also if you get a link attack during the combo execution, you can time it just before the slam hits the ground to do two of the hits and reset for the full 3 hits for best dmg.
Ive never knew this series existed lol and bought relink, the game is soooo good, characters really unique... Ive heard there are 500 plus characters in the original game
I would say get it asap but honestly Arise is a great game too so it’s good you’re playing that first. If you’re like me, you won’t be touching any other games for a while after getting your hands on Relink 😅
I just started the game maybe a few weeks ago... I've awakened zeta and yodas weapons... yodarha is my main and I finally got war element today. Seig has always seemed cool to me and I just started playing him. Practice dummy I can time the attacks good, but in boss fights I'm struggling.
I am having a real hard time grasping the input timing on his combo. Is it supposed to be when the weapon makes contact? Or just after that? Or during the backswing? I am having varying amounts of success with each method. Any help here would be appreciated. :)
So I’ve been wondering since my curios luck is worse than seeing a horde of black cats crossing the entire autobahn in Germany. What would the recommended substitute for warelemental and supplementary. Great vid very concise, straightforward and easy to understand 👍
There are none. Just damage skills if you haven’t reached the damage cap yet and if you have, then just some Defense skills like revive/ potion horder/ cooldown, etc. you can test for damage cap with the dummy trainer.
It' my main and I really want to know the point of Uwe since the unique attack has the exact same properties ?? I never use that skill since he already has too few slots for all the great skills he has !
It hits twice and seems to move faster to me. But overall I agree that he has other skills that are too good to pass up. The party buffs are perfect for teams with randoms. That 70% def specifically allows people who you know are ignoring mechanics to not ruin the run themselves.
Its super simple, as soon as you see the attack hit the oponent, and the window is very forgiving... Also if your on PS5, the controller vibrates after each hit, basically hit the attach button after you feel the vibration! You dont even have to look at the screen and you can still get the perfect combo!
I realy don't understand their idea behind damage cap. In endagme, every dmg buff or def debuff is basically useless because you still do the same damage...
You should be able to put it on through character customization in the party menu! Doesn't need to be unlocked separately apparently as I had it as soon as I unlocked Siegfried himself.
You pretty much hit the next input when you see the wind-down of the attack. Just let your attack go through without spamming square, then look for the moment he kinda stops moving his sword, thats when you wanna hit the attack.
He was really fun, mained him through the entire story and all the way up to proud. but i felt he lacked dps when it came to proud difficulties so i swapped over to Eugen, Percival or Lancelot and its been much easier unfortunately poor sig
I just tried for 1 hour strait to do the final attack when you have the link attacks (o after stun) but i can't get it to work even tho all the combo hits perfect timing what am i doing wrong there ?
In customize character, where you select colors. Go to party, then on his card press triangle (PS) and then you can select between no helm, helm with face showing and helmet with mask.
Hey you have to unlock Proud difficulty first, to get the transmutation after level 3. You accumulate points by transmuting sigils and redeem them to get a chance at a rare sigil.
The transmute has chance to give both their uniques on a single sigil. Or one unique and the + for another sigil worth. You can buy the base sigil with gold dahlia tickets (or whatever) from siero. And you can get the second character specific along with stout heart sigil from siero trader as well. I think it might be under the first option to trade for treasure's second tab. Those might be wrong, but you can get 1 copy somewhere in Siero's shop for sure.
Big mistake here, you can't run any points in aegis when you run terminus weapons since it puts you over the 45,000 health threshold for catstrophe, which is a massive 50% bonus damage cap. Additionally, Verdrangen isn't worth running since it's been calculated that defense down gets factored into damage cap, so if you're already hitting it it doesn't do anything.
Hey Jack, You're correct and that's why the story build and endgame build are different in the video. For the casual players aegis will likely be helpful as they go through the game, story and difficulties (they won't have terminus until very endgame). Just like in the endgame build shown in the video, you will want to focus on raising DMG Cap as much as possible so you wont need Aegis there, unless you are cancelling out tyranny. This is why I don't have Aegis on in the endgame build showcase part of the video.
You can run some points in Aegis and still be under 45k. My Vaseraga has Aegis level 11 and frankly a good chunk of the HP skill too and I am only at 44k. Maybe there is different HP per character, I am not sure. Also, just use Tyranny if needed.
